The connecting wire may include a first section and a second section. The second section may be directly connected to the first section, may overlap the first pixel, may overlap the first data line, and may be oblique relative to each of the first data line and the second data line in a plan view of the display device.

The active regions may include a function execution display region and the applications may comprise a camera application, a music player application, an idle mode screen application and the like. The method allows a user to execute functions of an activated application by tap on the touchscreen.
