  • Publication number: 20070206035
Abstract: The invention relates to an information terminal which has at least a basic housing, a display screen, an input apparatus such as a keyboard and/or a card reader, and an output apparatus for outputting documents. Documents which are not picked up by the user are deposited in a return tray. In order to render the documents illegible before depositing them in the return tray, provision is made for the documents to be completely or partially blacked out or to be shredded. A printing device such as an ink-jet printer is advantageously used for the purpose of blacking out the documents. If the documents are printed on thermal paper, a thermal printing line can also be used. A document shredder may be used for shredding the documents.

  • Patent number: 6065386
Abstract: The invention concerns a hydraulic device for controlling the hydraulic-fluid flow to and from a single-acting cylinder (3) on which a load (4) acts. Located between a pump (1) and the cylinder (3) is a controlled valve array (5) which, together with a controlled on-off valve (9) which in one position allows hydraulic fluid to pass back into the reservoir (2), controls the flow of hydraulic fluid to and from the cylinder (3). In order to be able to lift the piston slowly and at constant speed in the cylinder (3), independently of the load (4) acting on the piston, the invention calls for a throttle (6) and a non-return valve (7) to be connected in series, by-passing the valve array (5). A pressure regulator (10) maintains the pressure difference through the throttle (6) constant and feeds the fluid not required to maintain the pressure difference through the throttle (6) back to the reservoir (2).

  • Patent number: 4928377
Abstract: A machine tool having a machine frame open on three sides in the shape of the letter C, comprising an upper die support, disposed on the machine frame and vertically movable by a drive cradle, with at least two die holding fixtures placed side by side and having corresponding upper dies, a lower die support disposed on the machine frame with a corresponding number of die holding fixtures placed side by side and having corresponding lower dies, and a matrix plate clamped on the lower die support, disposed in a frame containing the die holding fixtures. In this configurement, it is possible to use a self-guided tool unit in an equally flexible manner as the normal upper and lower dies, by disposing, instead of a lower die, a tool unit comprising an upper die and a lower die contained in a guide frame, such as a cutting unit or a coping unit, on a matrix plate in a corresponding die holding fixture, and to drivingly couple it with the upper die support.

  • Patent number: 4835966
Abstract: A control switching arrangement for a hydraulic power lift control system comprises a power lift control valve which is controlled via control lines in a low pressure section. The main hydraulic section is controlled by the said control valve via a check valve which is hydraulically openable, at least for carrying out lowering movement by the power lift. The check valve is opened via the said control valve itself, which furnishes the switching line a pressure generally equal to the circulation pressure of the main hydraulic section. Further, means are provided whereby, in the switching state corresponding to lowering movement of the power lift, the circulation pressure of the main hydraulic section can be increased. With this control system the low pressure control section is simplified, and energy losses in the control system are kept as low as possible.

  • Patent number: 4836009
Abstract: An upper tool support (4) for a stamping machine or the like has at least two stamping tools (5) adjacently located. Each stamping tool (5) preferably includes a punch (7), a punch support (8) and a retaining nut (9) connecting the punch (7) with the punch support (8). The upper tool support (4) is provided with a support body (10), a receiving plate (11) with tool guides (12) for each stamping tool (5) disposed next to each other in the receiving plate (11), a locking cap (14). The locking cap (14) is connected to the support body (10) to be pivotable around a pivot axle (13), to be thus removable in a plane perpendicular to the direction of stamping. The upper ends of the stamping tools (5) are movably guided in the direction of stamping and limited in one direction by support flanges (15). The guidance of the stamping tools (5) is not influenced by the fastening of the locking cap (14) on the support body (10), because the locking cap (14) carries the receiving plate (11).

  • Patent number: 4632016
Abstract: A device for controlling an adjustable arm 1 has an operating circuit 10 including a movable valve 3 with two control mechanisms 11, 12 bidirectionally actuated by pressure. A control circuit to activate the movable valve is connected to a pressure source 19, to the two control mechanism 11, 12, and to an adjustable throttle 22 attached to one of the two control mechanism 12. The control circuit also includes an adjustable throttle 24, series connected adjustable throttles 27, 28 attached to the other control mechanism 11 and a fifth adjustable throttle 57. The fifth throttle is used to create an additional actual value input. An adjustable control valve 53 employs the desired and actual value inputs supplied by the adjustable throttles in various ways by interconnecting the throttles with the control devices and a pressure ratio valve 45 so that the system responds to applied force, position or both.

  • Patent number: 4524945
Abstract: A pressure fluid operated limit switch, particularly for a device for controlling an adjusting element in dependence upon a control value and a reference value. The limit switch includes a housing formed with a recess in which a spring-biased valve member is positioned. The valve member normally abuts against a valve seat formed by a shoulder in the switch housing is at times moved away from that seat against the force of the spring in response to a condition of the adjusting element with which the limit switch is mechanically connected. In order to ensure rapid movement of the valve member away from its seat and thus preventing throttling of the pressure fluid when the switch is in its open position the valve member is provided with the actuating element rigidly connected thereto and carrying at its free end an axially slidable sleeve biased by a spring which is clamped between that sleeve and the valve member.
