Abstract: In a flat knitting machine equipped with a manually movable handlebar (11) which is oriented parallel to a needle bed, the eccentrically mounted handlebar (11) is connected to a pivoting lever (15) which is the carrier of an armature (19) for a stationarily arranged electromagnet which can be excited via a control device and which, in the excited state, keeps the handlebar in an end position. The arrangement is such that, when the handlebar (11) is struck from above, the magnetic coupling can be released and it is also thereby possible to switch off the machine drive by hand in the quickest way possible.

Abstract: Substituted oxazolidinones, some of which are known, of the formula (I) ##STR1## in which R.sup.1 to R.sup.4 have the meanings given in the description, are used for combating pests.The new compounds and those which are known can be prepared by analogous processes by reacting suitable substituted isocyanates with suitable oxiranes or by oxidising suitable oxazolidinones.

Abstract: New Ethyl-triazolyl derivatives of the formula ##STR1## in which R represents halogen,X.sup.1 represents fluorine, chlorine or bromine,X.sup.2 represents fluorine, chlorine or bromine,Z represents halogen, alkyl having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, alkoxy having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, ethyl having 1 or 2 carbon atoms and 1 to 5 halogen atoms, halogenoalkoxy having 1 or 2 carbon atoms and 1 to 5 halogen atoms, phenyl, phenoxy, nitro or alkoximinoalkyl having 1 to 4 carbon atoms in the alkoxy moiety and 1 to 4 carbon atoms in the alkyl moiety andm represents the numbers 0, 1, 2 or 3,and addition products thereof with acids or metal salts are very effective for combating fungi.

Abstract: New triazolo-pyridine derivatives of the formula ##STR1## in which R represents optionally substituted alkyl, optionally substituted cycloalkyl or optionally substituted aryl,and their acid addition salts and metal salt complexes, are outstandingly effective as microbicides in plant protection and in the preservation of materials.

Abstract: There are described cycloalkyl-carboxanilides of the formula (I) ##STR1## in which X, Hal, Y.sup.1, Y.sup.2, Y.sup.3 and Z have the meaning given in the description, and a process for their preparation.The compounds of the formula (I) are used for combating pests.

Abstract: New compounds of the formula (I) ##STR1## in which R.sup.1 -R.sup.6 have the meanings given in the description, their preparation and use in plant protection, the protection of materials and in the field of human and veterinary medicine.Formula (I) gives a definition of the compounds which can be prepared by analogous processes, for example from suitable benzothiophene derivatives by oxidation.

Abstract: New substituted pyridyltriazines of the formula (I) ##STR1## in which R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 have the meanings given in the description, and their use for combating pests.The compounds can be prepared by analogous processes, for example by reacting pyridylamidine hydrochloride with suitable methyl imidates or with suitable benzene-isothiocyanates, or by desulphurising mercapto-substituted pyridyltriazines or by reacting them with alcohols. The mercapto-substituted compounds are also new and can be prepared by analogous processes.

Abstract: There are described new triazinyl-substituted acrylic esters of the formula (I) ##STR1## in which R.sup.1, R.sup.2, R.sup.3, R.sup.4, X and Y have the meaning given in the description, and a process for their preparation.The new acrylic esters of the formula (I) are used for the preparation of pesticides.

Abstract: New substituted pyrimidylamide oximes of the general formula (I) ##STR1## in which R.sup.1, R.sup.2, R.sup.3, A and Ar have the meanings given in the description, new intermediates for their preparation, and their use for combating pests.The new compounds of the formula (I) can be prepared by analogous processes, for example by reacting suitable pyrimidylamide oximes with suitable alkylating agents. The starting compounds which are also new, namely the pyrimidylamide oximes of the formula (II) in which --A--Ar represents hydrogen, can be prepared from suitable cynaopyrimidines with hydroxylamine or its acid adducts.

Abstract: Fungicidally active 3-(2-chloro-3-trifluoro-methylphenyl)-4-cyanopyrrole of the formula ##STR1##

Abstract: The invention relates to novel substituted 2,2-difluoro-1,3-benzodioxyl-4-ketones of the general formula (I) ##STR1## in which R.sup.1 represents a group from the series comprising --CN; --CO.sub.2 R.sup.5 or ##STR2## where R.sup.3 and R.sup.4 in each case independently of one another represent hydrogen, alkyl, alkenyl, alkylcarbonyl, formyl or optionally substituted aralkyl,R.sup.5 represents alkyl andR.sup.2 represents a group from the series comprising ##STR3## or --OR.sup.3, where R.sup.3 and R.sup.4 have the abovementioned meaning, a process for their preparation and their use as plant protection agents, in particular as herbicides.

Abstract: There are described new pyrimidyl-substituted acrylic esters of the general formula (I) ##STR1## in which Py, X, R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 have the meaning given in the description, a process for their preparation, and new intermediates.The compounds of the formula (I) are used as pesticides.

Abstract: A liquid metal cooled nuclear reactor for a nuclear power plant on the modular principle is disposed in a reactor cavern having cooling surfaces. A reactor tank contains a reactor core and one or more heat exchangers and primary pumps and is surrounded by a double tank of nodular graphite cast iron serving as a heat accumulator and having a plurality of detachably interconnected and superposed rings and a base. With this configuration, not only is the structure simplified but advantages are also achieved for operation, inspection and repair or exchange. Producing the double tank from cast iron has appreciable advantages for the construction of the entire plant with respect to external influences. The function as a heat accumulator has appreciable advantages for the construction of the heat removal systems of the cooling surfaces.

Abstract: Fungicidal azolyl-propanols of the formula ##STR1## in which R represents halogenoalkyl, halogenoalkenyl, a 2-phenoxy-isopropyl radical, ##STR2## Y represents nitrogen or a CH group, Z represents halogen, alkyl, halogenoalkyl, alkoxy, halogenoalkoxy, cyano, phenoxy, halo-phenoxy, or optionally substituted aryl,m represents the number 0, 1, 2, or 3, and addition products thereof with acids and metal salts.

Abstract: There are described new 2-cyclohexan-1-yl-amine derivatives of formula (I) ##STR1## in which A, R.sup.1, R.sup.2, R.sup.3 and R.sup.4 have the meaning given in the description, and processes for their preparation.The compounds of the formula (I) are used as antimicrobial agents.

Abstract: A blind-stitch sewing machine has an elastic fabric bender to bulge the material to be sewed following each step of advance through an aperture of a throat plate into the arcuate path of motion of an arc needle pivoting to-and-fro transversely to the direction of advance of the material being sewed, and a stop for the bulged material mounted on the throat plate. The stop of the throat plate is designed for the purpose of sewing labels having unevenly thick rims onto the inside of finished garments along the label rim so that the arc needle pierces the edge of the label laid on the garment and emerges from the garment and the label rim is lifted off the garment at the stop so that only the garment is forced by the fabric bender against the stop.

Abstract: Use of compounds of the formula (I) ##STR1## in which Ar, R and X have the meaning indicated in the description, for combating phytopathogenic fungi in agriculture.The compounds of the formula (I), are known and can be prepared by analogous processes, for example by oxidizing the corresponding thio compounds, for example using potassium permanganate.
