  • Patent number: 4991282
Abstract: A process for assembling vehicles having an integral body includes first mounting the components and subassemblies on an assembly frame and then moving them into position relative to the body of the vehicle so that connections can be made between the vehicle body and the components and subassemblies. After the connections have been made, the integral body with the components and subassemblies attached thereto can easily be lifted off the assembly frame. The assembly frame is easily adjustable to accommodate different types of vehicle bodies and easily holds the components and subassemblies in their proper position for connection to the vehicle body.

  • Patent number: 4984557
Abstract: The invention refers to a baking oven having a baking chamber which is accessible via a door and which is designed for introducing therein a carriage carrying baking goods so that the carriage is stationary during a baking process. The baking oven comprises two air channels extending laterally of the baking chamber at both sides thereof over the effective height of the baking chamber and being each separated from the baking chamber by a partition provided with a plurality of air passage openings. The air channels are, during the baking process, alternately supplied by a blower and, via a switching equipment, with hot air heated by a heating means. The hot air is humidified by a vapor supply means and transversely passes the baking chamber in alternating directions and is subsequently again sucked back along a closed circuit to the suction side of the blower. The blower and heating means are arranged at a higher level than the baking chamber and at least partially above said baking chamber.

  • Patent number: 4892083
Abstract: A baking oven has a baking chamber (2) which is at both of its sides separated from air channels (12) by partitions (11) being provided with air passage openings (30). The air channels (12) are connected to air supply channels (24) which are supplied with warm air by a blower (14) via a switching equipment (25) being centrally arranged relative to the cover wall (10) of the baking chamber (2), said switching equipment having preferably the shape of a flap (27) being swivellable around a horizontal axis. On account thereof, the baking chamber (2) is uniformly supplied with warm air which flows through the baking chamber (2) in horizontal and alternating direction (FIG. 1).

  • Patent number: 4849096
Abstract: The apparatus has a main line having stages of cleaning batteries (S1-S5). The respective battery of each individual stage consists of cleaners such as hydroclones which produce three fractions. The medium fraction is conveyed from stage to stage. The heavy fraction of the first stage is cleaned in a first secondary circuit (N1) and the light fraction of all main line stages S1 to S5 is cleaned further in a second secondary circuit N2. The heavy fraction of the main line stages (S2 to S5) following the first stage (S1) is conveyed as accept to a paper machine reservoir, as is the light fraction of the first secondary circuit (N1). The heavy fraction of the second secondary circuit (N2) is conveyed to the inlet of the main line first stage (S1), whereas the light fraction of this second secondary circuit (N2) is cleaned further. The hydroclones of the two secondary circuits may be of the type which is capable of preparing three fractions.

  • Patent number: 4779604
Abstract: Into the baking chamber of a baking oven a carriage (7) carrying the baking goods (5) can be shifted in between two partition walls (13) having horizontal slots (14) through which hot air is blown into the baking chamber (4) in alternating directions. The carriage (7) carries channels (21) joining the slots (14) and being confined by guide sheet metal elements (20). By these channels (21) the air passing through the slots (14) is guided towards the center of the carriage and onto the baking good.

  • Patent number: 4590916
Abstract: A baking oven has a baking chamber in which plate members carrying the baking good are stepwisely conveyed along an endless path. The baking chamber has a charging and discharging opening through which a branch of this endless path is fed to a charging and discharging station located outside of the baking chamber. Hot air is blown into the baking chamber by means of a blower. In order to prevent that the hot atmosphere within the baking chamber escapes through the charging opening, this opening can be closed by a closure means actuated in synchronism with the steps of movement of the plate members. Further in synchronism with this actuation, a change-over means is actuated which guides the hot air either into the baking chamber or into a by-pass-channel leading back to the blower.

  • Patent number: 4506668
Abstract: The insulating end piece of a high frequency cutting loop resectoscope is formed using ceramic fibers in an epoxy resin matrix for improved strength, heat dissipation and abrasion resistance. An end portion has fibers fused together or a separate annular ceramic body welded to the fibers.

  • Patent number: 4467906
Abstract: A hanger for transporting dough portions through a fermentation chamber or the like is adapted to be suspended on chains running through said chamber and has an arcuated support member covered by a textile band in the form of an endless loop carrying the dough pieces to be transported. The textile band is fixed to a rod extending parallel to the swivelling axis of the hanger and is connected to a drive means. When this drive means is actuated, the rod is moved along the surface of the support member and thus the textile band carrying the dough pieces is moved relative to the support member so that the dough pieces are transported towards the leading edge of the support member so that the dough portions, when the hanger is tilted, do not have to fall over a considerable distance.

  • Patent number: 4456446
Abstract: A machine for molding or forming dough portions and oiling these dough portions has at least one pestle for the molding or forming operation, which pestle is mounted on a carrier movable in upward and downward direction so that the pestle, when moved downwardly, can deform the upper surface of the dough portion resting on a dough dish to the desired shape. The machine has also an oil applying means which is moved upwardly and downwardly in synchronism with the carrier. The oil applying means has an oil feeding tube which is arranged in front of the pestle, when seen in direction of movement of the dish, so that the dough portion is at first oiled and then deformed by the pestle. The oil feeding tube can be shifted upwardly relative to its mounting menas, said relative shifting movement being used for controlling the oil delivery to the tube.

  • Patent number: 4428721
Abstract: In a machine for molding or forming dough pieces, particularly kaisersemmels oder starsemmels, a molding tool carrier is mounted for upward and downward movement in a frame. The molding tool carrier carries at least one molding tool, particularly a pestle for forming the upper surface of the dough piece resting in a hollow of a molding dish. In order to avoid that due to dough adhering to the molding or forming tools dough pieces are placed one upon the other in the molding dish so that by the excessive amount of dough expelled by the molding tool damages in the machine occur, a sensor means is provided for supervising the neighborhood of those zones of the molding dish in which the dough is expelled during normal operation of the machine. If the sensor means senses excessive amount of dough, the drive means for the upward and downward movement of the molding or forming tools is disconnected, preferably the drive motor is shut off from the electric power supply.

  • Patent number: 4211492
Abstract: Dough to be portioned is filled into a hopper, which leads to a chamber from which the dough is forced by means of a plunger into pocket openings arranged on the circumference of a rotating drum. Two rotary members are arranged in the hopper, each of which carries arms serving for preportioning the dough. Within the hopper and above the rotary members are arranged two sets of feed rollers for the dough. These feed rollers serve as intake rollers for the dough to be preportioned. The direction of rotational movement of the rollers of each set of feet rollers is the same as the direction of rotation of the cooperating rotary member. Rotation of the rotary members is controlled by a sensing means responsive to the quantity of dough in the chamber and also the rotation of the feed rollers may be controlled by these sensing means.
