  • Patent number: 12284246
Abstract: Certain embodiments disclosed herein reduce or eliminate a communication bottleneck at the storage manager by reducing communication with the storage manager while maintaining functionality of an information management system. In some implementations, a client obtains information for enabling a secondary storage job (e.g., a backup or restore) from a storage manager and stores the information (which may be referred to as job metadata) in a local cache. The client may then reuse the job metadata for multiple storage jobs reducing the frequency of communication with the storage manager. When a configuration of the information management system changes, or the availability of resources changes, the storage manager can push updates to the job metadata to the clients. Further, a client can periodically request updated job metadata from the storage manager ensuring that the client does not rely on out-of-date job metadata.

  • Publication number: 20250123186
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to systems and methods for detecting anomalies in a semiconductor processing system. According to certain embodiments, one or more external sensors are mounted to a sub-fab component, communicating with the processing system via a communication channel different than a communication channel utilized by the sub-fab component and providing extrinsic sensor data that the sub-fab component is not configured to provide. The extrinsic sensor data may be combined with sensor data from a processing tool of the system and/or intrinsic sensor data of the sub-fab component to form virtual sensor data. In the event the virtual data exceeds or falls below a threshold, an intervention or a maintenance signal is dispatched, and in certain embodiments, an intervention or maintenance action is taken by the system.

  • Publication number: 20250126669
Abstract: Enhanced CU-UP change associated with a device can be performed and managed. CU-CP can trigger transition from source CU-UP to target CU-UP. Before bearer context modification request is communicated from CU-CP to source CU-UP, CU-CP can effectuate communication path update to transition from first uplink path, associated with source CU-UP, DU, and UPF, to second uplink path, associated with target CU-UP, DU, and UPF. Target CU-UP can buffer uplink data until CU-CP receives uplink PDCP count from source CU-UP and forwards that count to target CU-CP. CU-CP or UPF can transition or facilitate transitioning from first downlink path associated with source CU-UP, DU, and UPF, to second downlink path, associated with target CU-UP, DU, and UPF. Target CU-UP can buffer downlink data until CU-CP receives downlink PDCP count from source CU-UP and forwards that count to target CU-CP. Source CU-UP can transfer remaining downlink data it has to DU.

  • Publication number: 20250111629
Abstract: Requests are received from viewing users for rendering a virtual world in a computing environment that mimics real world, where at least one user appears in the virtual world. For each of the viewing users, a processor determines a group to which a viewing user belongs, determines a virtual representation of the at least one user that is mapped to the group, and renders the virtual representation of the at least one user in the virtual world to a device associated with the viewing user. Based on the determined mapping of the group to the virtual representation, the virtual representation of the at least one user rendered on the device associated with the viewing user appears at the same time differently from the virtual representation of the at least one user rendered on another device associated with another viewing user among the viewing users.

  • Patent number: 12266345
Abstract: This disclosure relates generally to ASR and is particularly directed to automatic, efficient, and intelligent detection of transcription bias in ASR models. Contrary to a tradition approach to the testing of ASR bias, the example implementations disclosed herein do not require actual test speeches and corresponding ground-truth texts. Instead, test speeches may be machine-generated from a pre-constructed reference textual passage according short speech samples of speakers using a neural voice cloning technology. The reference passage may be constructed according to a particular target domain of the ASR model being tested. Bias of the ASR model in various aspects may be identified by analyzing transcribed text from the machine-generated speeches and the reference textual passage. The underlying principles for bias detection may be applied to evaluation of general transcription effectiveness and accuracy of the ASR model.

  • Publication number: 20250106762
Abstract: This disclosure describes techniques for allowing a wireless device and a peripheral device to enter a sleep state while maintaining an active WLAN link between the wireless device and the peripheral device. In some implementations, the wireless device operates as a STA associated with a WLAN while also operating as a softAP. The wireless device selects a sleep state beacon interval based on a handover request, and obtains a next sleep state TBTT based on the sleep state beacon interval and a TSF value of the wireless device. The wireless device sends a message to the peripheral device over the Bluetooth connection, the message indicating the next sleep state TBTT and the sleep state beacon interval, and transmits one or more beacon frames to the peripheral device over the WLAN link during the sleep state based on the next sleep state TBTT and the sleep state beacon interval.

  • Patent number: 12262332
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may establish, with a network entity, a wireless connection that uses a set of symbols per transmission time interval (TTI) for orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) communications, where each symbol of the set of symbols may correspond to a fast Fourier transform (FFT) window and may include a guard interval (GI) portion and a data portion within the FFT window. In some examples, the UE may receive a control message indicating at least one parameter associated with a power offset between a data signal of the set of symbols and a reference signal of the set of symbols that is associated with the data signal. As such, the UE may communicate with the network entity, the data signal, and the reference signal according to the indicated power offset using the set of symbols.

  • Patent number: 12260117
Abstract: Apparatus and method for executing controller memory buffer (CMB) based data transfer commands in a distributed data processing environment. In some embodiments, a storage device having a device controller and a main non-volatile memory (NVM) is coupled to a client device via an interface. The client device respectively issues normal data transfer commands and bypass data transfer commands to the storage device. The normal data transfer commands include read and write commands that result in transfer of data between the NVM and the client device using a normal data path through the storage device. The bypass data transfer commands involve an allocated CMB of the storage device directly controlled and accessed by the client device. In this way, write data are directly placed into the CMB for writing to the NVM, and readback data from the NVM are directly recovered from the CMB by the client device.

  • Publication number: 20250094240
Abstract: A disclosed method facilitates an increase in utilization with respect to a resource quota allocated to a tenant from a shared resource pool. The method includes transmitting a lease request to a quota service on behalf of the tenant, where the lease request identifies a processing task and specifies quantity of cloud-based resources requested from the shared resource pool for execution of the processing task. The method further provides for determining, based on a feedback signal received from the quota service, whether grant of the lease request would cause the tenant to exceed a resource quota allocated to the tenant and dynamically decreasing parallelism of active tasks being processed by the cloud-based resources on behalf of the tenant in response to determining that grant of the lease request would cause the tenant to exceed the resource quota limit.

  • Publication number: 20250097881
Abstract: Indoor localization, which estimates the location of a wireless device using Wi-Fi/Zigbee/Bluetooth, is increasingly important for Industry 4.0 applications, such as tracking of robots and large-scale inventory management. Existing approaches have certain practical issues related to enterprise hardware as specific data required by them is not always available due to security and other reasons. Present disclosure provides system and method that implement indoor Location Aggregator Model, which combines multiple estimation location models to provide localization to wireless/user devices while being compliant to enterprise environments. More specifically, channel state information is used for estimating position and identification of candidate sub-region within a region. Further, at least one Location Estimation Model is identified based on the identified candidate sub-region by all LEMS and an accuracy map. The identified LEM is then used for determining an actual location of a user device.
