  • Publication number: 20250094066
Abstract: A data storage system for use in a high radiation environment has a radiation-hardened storage controller that measures a current draw of a storage drive in a storage array. The storage drive is not radiation-hardened. Based on a characteristic of the current draw, a latch up is detected the storage drive. Based on the detected latch up, power is removed from all or part of the storage drive. After a cooling period has elapsed, the power is reapplied to the storage drive.

  • Publication number: 20250094237
Abstract: A system provides capacity-based load balancing across model endpoints of a cloud-based artificial intelligence (AI) model. The system includes a consumption determination engine executable to determine a net resource consumption for processing tasks in a workload generated by a client application for input to the trained machine learning model. The system also includes a load balancer that determines a distribution of available resource capacity in a shared resource pool comprising compute resources at each of the multiple model endpoints. The load balancer allocates parallelizable tasks of the workload among the compute resources at the multiple model endpoints based on the net resource consumption of the tasks and on the distribution of available resource capacity in the shared resource pool.

  • Publication number: 20250094429
Abstract: Methods and apparatuses for identifying groups of electronic messages, generating conversation documents using the groups of electronic messages, and indexing the conversation documents to improve search ranking and retrieval for content contained within the electronic messages are described. In some cases, understanding the contents of a group of electronic messages may require context from outside the group of electronic messages, such as context provided by electronic messages outside of the group of electronic messages or context provided by electronic documents linked to by messages of the group of electronic messages. The identification of a group of electronic messages includes detecting a conversation boundary that separates a first set of messages from a second set of messages, which may be determined using machine learning approaches or various heuristics.

  • Publication number: 20250094233
Abstract: A disclosed method reduces memory consumption of a trained sequential model. The method includes receiving, from a client application, an initial processing request identifying an input sequence to be processed by the trained sequential model and an initial value for an output size parameter specifying a requested size of output from the trained sequential model. The method further includes sequentially transmitting, to the trained sequential model, multiple partial processing requests based on the initial processing request that each specify a fraction of the initial value as the output size parameter and receiving a sequence of output responses from the trained sequential model generated in response to processing the multiple partial processing requests. The method further provides for returning, to the client application, a final merged response that includes the sequence of output responses.

  • Publication number: 20250086042
Abstract: A fault reaction handling time interval (FRTI) for a reaction to the fault is determined based on a domain identifier (DID) indicative of an application associated with a fault. A first reaction to recover from the fault is signaled and then a determination is made whether a safe state is reached after the FRTI. Based on the safe state not being reached, a second FRTI is determined for a second escalated reaction, the second FRTI also being based on the DID. Typically, the second reaction results in less system availability so by defining the FRTI based on the DID sufficient time is allowed for reaching a safe state before the reaction is escalated.

  • Publication number: 20250080312
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. User equipments (UEs) that operate in sidelink mode 2 may be configured with or agree upon time windows in which full-duplex communication is supported and time windows in which half-duplex communication is supported. The UEs may agree upon beam pair links to be used for full-duplex communication during the full-duplex time windows. A first UE may transmit sidelink control information (SCI) that schedules a first sidelink shared channel communication in a first communication resource in a time window that is configured for full-duplex communication. Based on the SCI, a second UE may identify that the first sidelink shared channel communication is scheduled in the first communication resource in a full-duplex time window and may transmit a second sidelink shared channel communication to the first UE in a second communication resource that at least partially overlaps with the first communication resource.
