  • Publication number: 20220153139
Abstract: A system for extending a range of an electric vehicle includes a graphene-based metal-air battery system (GMABS), an electrolyte management system (EMS), a flow management system (FMS), one or more auxiliary power sources, and a real-time monitoring and feedback system (RMS). The GMABS includes multiple cells electrically connected to each other and filled with an electrolyte for initiating a reaction to generate power. The EMS regulates a temperature of the electrolyte flowing through the cells. The FMS regulates a circulation of the electrolyte in the GMABS. At least one auxiliary power source is connected to the GMABS to receive and deliver the power to components of the electric vehicle. The RMS continuously computes and monitors a state of charge of each auxiliary power source in real time to facilitate a continuous power delivery to the electric vehicle, thereby extending the range of the electric vehicle.

Abstract: Techniques to facilitate operation of a centralized trust authority for web application components are disclosed herein. In at least one implementation, a plurality of web resources used to construct web applications is received. Over a secure application programming interface (API), component registration information associated with each of the plurality of web resources is received, provided by producers of the web resources. The plurality of web resources is analyzed to determine unique identities and security attributes for each of the web resources. A plurality of security risk factors is identified for each of the plurality of web resources based on the component registration information and the security attributes determined for each of the web resources. A security profile is generated for each of the plurality of web resources based on the security risk factors identified for each of the web resources.

  • Patent number: 11334409
Abstract: A fault collection and reaction system on a system-on-chip (SoC) includes a plurality of reaction cores assigned to a plurality of applications being executed by a plurality of processor cores on the SoC, at least one look-up table (LUT), and a controller. The at least one LUT stores therein a first mapping between the plurality of reaction cores and corresponding plurality of domain identifiers, and a second mapping between a plurality of faults and a set of reaction combinations. The controller receives a fault indication and a first domain identifier in response to occurrence of a first fault and selects from the plurality of reaction cores, a first reaction core mapped to the first domain identifier, and from the set of reaction combinations, a first reaction combination mapped to the first fault. The first reaction core responds to the fault indication with a reaction based on the selected reaction combination.

  • Publication number: 20220147863
Abstract: Call propensity source data may be received that include a first percentage of call propensity source data that correspond to presence of post-visit phone calls to a customer service of an entity after some customer visits to a web site of an entity and a second percentage of call propensity source data that correspond to absence of post-visit phone calls to the customer service after other customer visits to the website. A machine-learning model is trained based on a plurality of features in at least a portion of the call propensity source data to generate a trained machine-learning model. The trained machine-learning model is applied to multiple features included in at least one of corresponding website activity data and corresponding activity error data of a customer to generate a probability score that measures a likelihood of the customer calling the customer service regarding an issue that is unresolved via the website.

  • Patent number: 11330052
Abstract: Certain embodiments disclosed herein reduce or eliminate a communication bottleneck at the storage manager by reducing communication with the storage manager while maintaining functionality of an information management system. In some implementations, a client obtains information for enabling a secondary storage job (e.g., a backup or restore) from a storage manager and stores the information (which may be referred to as job metadata) in a local cache. The client may then reuse the job metadata for multiple storage jobs reducing the frequency of communication with the storage manager. When a configuration of the information management system changes, or the availability of resources changes, the storage manager can push updates to the job metadata to the clients. Further, a client can periodically request updated job metadata from the storage manager ensuring that the client does not rely on out-of-date job metadata.

  • Patent number: 11321717
Abstract: An account holder's portfolio of transactions may be represented as a network of interconnected transaction nodes where each node represents a credit card transaction. This network may then be analyzed using artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques coupled with visual representations of the interrelated nodes to draw conclusions. An account holder or other system entity may report a fraudulent transaction that employs the holder's account information. A backend system may organize transaction information as a network of data nodes that includes a variety of interrelated information. The backend system may then identify all financial transaction “nodes” within the network that are related or connected by common data. For example, multiple transactions may include a common merchant as the reported fraudulent transaction. The backend may then perform an analysis of the nodes to identify likely fraudulent transactions based on one or more of the data elements for each node.

  • Publication number: 20220124182
Abstract: Certain tasks related to processing layer 7 (L7) data streams, such as HTTP data streams, can be performed by an L7 assist circuit instead of by general-purpose CPUs. The L7 assist circuit can normalize URLs, Huffman decode, Huffman encode, and generate hashes of normalized URLs. A L7 data stream, which is reassembled from received network packets, includes an L7 header. L7 assist produces an augmented L7 header that is added to the L7 data stream. The CPUs can use the augmented L7 header, thereby speeding up processing. On the outbound path, L7 assist can remove the augmented L7 header and perform Huffman encoding such that the CPUs can perform other tasks.

  • Publication number: 20220121635
Abstract: This application discloses a system for processing requests for data in production and archive/backup databases. The system stores a mapping of data in production and archive databases to multiple different data storage locations, including a production system storing at least one production database and an archive system storing at least one archive database. The system receives a data request from an application component, which manages or receives data from a user interface and has received the data request directly from the user interface. The system translates the data request to one or more database queries based on the mapping. The system causes to execute the database queries against data on the production or archive system. The system returns a result of executing the one or more database queries to the application component, where the application component returns the result to the user via the user interface.
