  • Patent number: 10806856
Abstract: The invention relates to an insertion device comprising—a penetrating member (50) connected to transformation means (52), —a moving part (38) comprising guiding means (39) which guiding means (39) restrict the movement of the transformation means (52) and guide the penetrating member (50) from a first to a second position in a first direction, i.e. the direction of insertion, towards the injection site, and—a stationary housing (30) comprising guiding means (32) which guiding means (32) restrict the movement of the moving part (38). The guiding means (32) guide the moving part (38) in a second direction which is linear and different from the first direction i.e. the direction of insertion.

  • Patent number: 9872593
Abstract: A tipping method for a tipping arrangement which includes a first element (1) and a second element (2), arranged between a moveable base unit (4) and a rotatable container (3). The container (3) is rotated by moving the second element (2) along a first track (7) on the first element (1). The second element (2) is moved along the track (7) by rotating the second element (2) relative to the first element (1). A number of engaging parts (9, 10) may be arranged on the tracks (7, 8) of the elements (1, 2), respectively. An interlocking arrangement may be arranged between the first element (1) and the second element (2) to secure the second element (2) in a starting position. A movable unit includes the tipping arrangement and a section unit, with the container (3) locked in a vertical position by a locking arrangement.

  • Patent number: 8657801
Abstract: The invention provides a switching device for an irrigation system. The switching device provides selective communication between a supply port to which a supply of fluid under pressure can be attached and a balloon port to which a fixing balloon of a catheter can be attached, and between the supply port and a port to which a liquid reservoir can be attached. By use of a selection handle, the user can deform conduits in a pre-determined sequence and thus control an irrigation procedure by opening and closing fluid flow in various conduits. The invention further provides an irrigation device incorporating the switching device and a method of controlling a fluid flow e.g. in an irrigation system.

  • Publication number: 20100258568
Abstract: An assembly for wetting a medical device is provided. The assembly comprises a compartment for a fluid medium and a package for the medical device. The compartment and the package are separate elements, which are joined together. An outlet from the compartment is movable so as to be able to connect to an entrance to the package and hereby establish communication for the fluid. This way the medical device may be wetted. The fluid medium may contain an anti-microbial agent such as hydrogen peroxide. The medical device may be a urinary catheter. A method for manufacturing such an assembly and a method of using it is also provided.
