  • Publication number: 20240183217
Abstract: Disclosed is a system that utilizes at least one structural frame element within an existing aperture as a universal mounting framework for securing windows, doors and other structural elements that are installed within an existing aperture of a wall. The structural frame elements are preferably made from thermally isolating materials and are fastened within the aperture using means that does not severely damage the weather membrane. The structural frame elements may have built in finishing trim around the installed structural components. The structural components may be further secured within the structural frame elements using holding elements and projecting members, which may be removable or unitary to the structural frame elements. Some of the surfaces of the structural frame elements that are exposed to the external environment contain a pitch that promotes drainage.

  • Publication number: 20230340780
Abstract: Disclosed is a system of cladding along an existing exterior wall of a building featuring a plurality of U-shaped or Hat-Shapped rails shown as affixing rails 90 and 10, respectively, or H-shaped rails, shown as affixing rails 200, deployed in a substantantially parallel and spaced apart arrangement, with an insulation panel in between two of plurality of U-shaped or H-shaped rails. The U-shaped and H-shaped components both serving as affixing rails for securing insulation in the space between an existing wall and decorative or finishing wall panels using holding elements, such as a plurality of pegs or rods. The H-shaped affixing rail is further described in combination with edge-components. The edge components are necessary to absorb and build around corners and window or door apertures along the surface of an existing wall.

  • Patent number: 11608644
Abstract: Disclosed is a system of cladding along an existing exterior wall of a building featuring a plurality of Z-shaped components deployed in a parallel spaced apart arrangement, with an insulation panel in between two of the Z-shaped components. The Z-shaped components having a J-wall to enforce a moisture gap between exterior wall paneling and insulation. The Z-shaped components may feature Edge-components when the line of insulation panels needs to be interrupted or when it reaches a corner or edge of a wall.

  • Patent number: 11519180
Abstract: The disclosed invention provides a system and method of installing wall panels unto an existing wall. The primary object of the disclosed system is to enable mounting of wall panels or windows on an erected latticework. Such latticework is deployed on exteriors of existing walls or is mounted across floor slabs. The system is comprised of a plurality of parallel upright assemblies stretching from slab of one floor to slab of the next floor. Crossmembers fastened to the parallel upright assemblies serve as mounting points for wall or window paneling.

  • Publication number: 20220275651
Abstract: A wall cladding system includes a slab bracket, a connector tube, first and second façade panels, and first and second attachment rails. The slab bracket includes a base wall and first and second forward extending flanges defining a gap in which the connector tube is secured. The first attachment rail is secured along an upper edge the first façade panel and includes a mounting wall fastened to the connector tube and a support wall extending upward from the mounting wall, spaced from the connector tube to define a first slot. The second attachment rail is secured along a lower edge of the second façade panel and includes a downward extending hanger wall spaced apart from a rear surface of the second façade panel to define a second slot, with the hanger wall received in the first slot and the support wall received in the second slot.
