  • Patent number: 6182097
Abstract: A system is disclosed for displaying information pertaining to the usage of Web pages. The system comprises first and second Web sites. The first Web site comprises plural Web-component files, each having a name in a Web-site directory. The second Web site comprises plural statistics files, each containing usage information about a corresponding Web-component file or sub-directory of Web-component files. The system further comprises a computing device that has a display screen, is operable by a user, and is in communication with the first and second Web sites. The computing device is operated under the control of Web-browser software effective for displaying, on the screen, Web components of the respective Web sites.

  • Patent number: 5492056
Abstract: An apparatus for compacting refuse and similar material in a vessel. The apparatus including a driveable rotating roller for compacting the material inside a receiver vessel, wherein the roller is capable of moving in an essentially horizontal direction about a shaft and is preferably driven in rotation. In one embodiment, the roller is coupled to the shaft by a support arm extending laterally from the shaft, and is movable in a vertical direction between bottom and top portions of the vessel by a pivot arm.

  • Patent number: 5062305
Abstract: The measuring tube is for an electromagnetic flow meter and has a tube member made of a non-magnetic material that is provided with opposite through passages that have electrodes extended therethrough. An insulating lining of an enamel priming layer coats the inner surface of the tube member and fills the gaps between the electrodes and the tube member surfaces defining the through passages, the lining also including an covering enamel layer covering the priming layer surface that is within the tube member interior. The end faces of the electrodes that are in the tube member interior have the enamel material cleared therefrom. The priming layer may be formed by filling the tube member with a priming enamel slip, pouring out the slip material, cleaning the electrode end surfaces that are within the tube member interior and then heating to melt the slip material and then cooling. The covering layer may be formed by the same steps.

  • Patent number: 4960045
Abstract: An arrangement for the compressing of refuse and similar materials by means of a number of roller-shaped compressing bodies acting in a container or similar receptacle and moving along the container so as to compress the material. The arrangement permits the effective compressing of the intended material without the need for a major labor input, etc.

  • Patent number: 4641536
Abstract: In an electromagnetic flow meter having a ceramic measuring tube, a housing arrangement is provided which forms a fluid tight capsule surrounding the measuring tube to prevent the escape of fluid if the tube should happen to crack or break in the use thereof.

  • Patent number: 4641537
Abstract: The invention relates to an electromagnetic flow meter of the type having a cylindrically shaped tube section with two magnetic poles each having a core section carrying a winding attached to the outside and on opposite sides of the tube section. Smaller dimensions and lower losses in the magnetic circuit are achieved by providing a casing or yoke unit formed of sheet metal members and having U-shaped core sections. The core sections have central webs adapted to the curvature of the pole shoes and rectangular coils are disposed respectively between the associated pole shoes and sheet metal yoke members.

  • Patent number: 4635486
Abstract: The invention relates to an electromagnetic flow meter with a magnetic system having two magnetic poles which are attachable to a measuring tube from the outside, an outer yoke, and at least one separating gap. Each pole has a pole shoe and a core section carrying a winding which is connected at the radially outward end thereof without a gap to the adjoining magnetic system portion and the separating gap is disposed beyond the magnetic path for the stray flux.
