  • Patent number: 9194901
Abstract: The present invention relates to a sensing structure of touch panel, which comprises a plurality of electrode groups disposed on a substrate. The substrate has a first side and a second side. Each electrode group comprises a first external electrode, a second external electrode, a plurality of internal electrodes, and a plurality of wires. The first external electrode is disposed on a first side; the second external electrode is disposed on the second side; the plurality of internal electrodes are disposed between the first external electrode and the second external electrode; and the plurality of wires are disposed on both sides of the electrode group alternately. Thereby, by disposing the first external electrode, the second external electrode, and the internal electrodes, all being zigzag, the disposable number of electrodes in each electrode group is increased. Accordingly, the sensitivity of touch sensing for the sensing structure of touch panel is enhanced.

  • Patent number: 8907919
Abstract: The present invention relates to a sensing structure of touch panel, which comprises a plurality of first electrode groups are located on a first side of a substrate. The bottom of each first electrode is located on the first side and extends towards a second side. A plurality of extended electrode groups are connected to the plurality of first electrode groups, respectively. The bottom of each extended electrode is located on the second side and extends towards the first side. The plurality of second electrode groups are located on the substrate. A first sub-electrode of each second electrode is interleaved with and insulated electrically from each extended electrode. The plurality of third electrode groups are located on the substrate and have a plurality of third electrodes. A first sub-electrode of the third electrode is interleaved with and insulated electrically from the second sub-electrode of the second electrode.

  • Publication number: 20110122076
Abstract: The present invention provides a position detection apparatus for a touch panel. The apparatus includes at least one light source disposed on at least a first edge of the touch panel for illumination of a surface of the touch panel, a first detector disposed on one end of a second edge of the touch panel, and a second detector disposed on the other end of the second edge of the touch panel, wherein each of the first and second detectors comprises a plane mirror reflecting an image from the surface of the touch panel and an image sensor for acquisition of the image from the plane mirror, and a position where a pointer touches the touch panel is determined according to the images acquired by the image sensors of the first and second detectors.
