  • Publication number: 20090038060
Abstract: Swimming goggles are provided including an outer frame and an inner frame integrally formed together, lenses respectively received in the outer frame, and a strap device with a head strap. The outer frame includes a first frame unitarily formed with hard material. The first frame defines receiving slots respectively for receiving the lenses. Each receiving slot has an inner edge with a first positioning portion formed thereon. The inner frame includes a second frame formed by soft material enveloping along the first frame, and defines openings respectively corresponding to the receiving slots. The lenses form second positioning portions along rims thereof for engaging with the first positioning portions. The strap device includes base portions respectively assembled on opposite sides of the first frame for supporting and adjusting the head strap. The strap device is only assembled to the first frame of the outer frame when being assembled.

  • Publication number: 20090038062
Abstract: Swimming goggles have a left frame and a right frame respectively receiving lenses therein, a connecting bridge between the left frame and the right frame, a head strap, and buckles for supporting the head strap. Each buckle comprises an assembling frame and a strap frame pivotably assembled to each other. The assembling frame includes a pivoting shaft, an abutting arm extending from the pivoting shaft, and a resilient arm extending from the pivoting shaft and opposite to the abutting arm. Branches respectively extend from opposite sides of the resilient arm. A first controlling arm and a second controlling arm are formed on outward sides of the assembling frame and adjacent to the branches for controlling the branches. The strap frame defines a pivoting orifice for pivoting to the pivoting shaft, and a guiding hole for guiding the head strap. The head strap is operated by a couple of fingers, making manual operation ergonomic.

  • Patent number: 7444689
Abstract: Swimming goggles include a soft lens frame with an inner section and an outer section, a hard holding frame with an upper body and a lower body, biasing blocks for pressing the upper body and the lower body, and a strap element with a head strap. The inner section defines receiving slots for receiving eyeglasses therein. A mask-like protective pad is integrated with the inner section. The outer section forms at least a stuffing portion. The holding frame clamps the outer section of the lens frame. At least a hollow-cutting portion is formed on the holding frame and corresponds to the stuffing portion respectively. The swimming goggles have reduced weight and sound flexibility because of the hollow-cutting portions, and fit to users' faces and noses suitably.

  • Publication number: 20080263753
Abstract: Swimming goggles include a couple of reticulate holding frames connected by a bridge, a couple of frames assembled in the reticulate holding frames, a couple of eyeglasses assembled in the frames, and fasteners. The reticulate holding frames are made of rigid material. Each reticulate holding frame forms a first and a second locking annulus corresponding to each other. Each reticulate holding frame defines an assembling opening in outward sides of the first and the second locking annulus. A first and a second connecting sheets respectively extend from opposing sides of the assembling opening and are assembled together when the swimming goggles are assembled. The frames are made of soft material and are assembled in the reticulate holding frames. The fasteners are assembled on the first and the second connecting sheets of the reticulate holding frames, and press the first and the second connecting sheets in a longitudinal direction and a transverse direction.

  • Publication number: 20080189837
Abstract: Swimming goggles include a soft left lens frame, a soft right lens frame, a soft connecting portion between the left lens frame and the right lens frame, rigid eyeglasses, rigid strap positioning frames, and fasteners. Each strap positioning frame includes a housing, two pegs, and two branches extending reverse to the pegs. Each peg has at least a holding portion. The left lens frame and the right lens frame respectively define at least an embedding groove for engaging with the holding portion, whereby the left lens frame and the right lens frame firmly wraps the strap positioning frames. The fasteners include adjusting buckles with a head strap extending therethrough. Length of the head strap is adjustable by pressing the adjusting buckles.

  • Publication number: 20080172777
Abstract: Swimming goggles include a left frame, a right frame, a connecting portion between the left frame and the right frame, lenses, strap elements and a head strap. The left frame, the right frames and the connecting portion are made of soft material. The lenses and the strap elements are made of hard material. The lenses respectively form positioning portions thereon. The strap elements form embedding portions thereon for engaging with the positioning portions. The lenses and the strap elements are preliminarily assembled. Then the left frame, the right frame and the connecting portion are integrally shaped to envelop outer rims of the lenses. The strap elements are partially exposed outside for guiding the head strap. The soft left and right frames, and the connecting portion provide comfortable contact for users. The connecting portion is so flexible that fits to various users of different face profiles and prevent from water-leakage in use.

  • Patent number: 7389548
Abstract: Swimming goggles have a lens frame, lens received in the lens frame, and a strap adjusting means for adjusting a head strap. The lens frame includes a soft first frame enveloping a hard second frame. The second frame forms enhanced structure on a center of an upper portion thereof. The strap adjusting means includes buckles respectively assembled on both sides of the lens frame, and a head strap is wrapped through the buckles. The buckles have bases integrally formed with the second frame. When the swimming goggles are in use, a center of the upper portion of the second frame will not be bent or distorted, while both sides thereof are gradually distorted to fit to swimmer's foreheads, effectively guarding from water seepage.
