  • Patent number: 5161572
Abstract: A pressure valve, which is installed in the delivery line leading from a fuel injection pump to a fuel injection valve, and which has a valve closing member opening in the direction of delivery, which is provided with a return collar. To achieve uniform injection, particularly a uniform curve of injection at a given load plotted against the speed, the opening rate of the connecting cross-section at the valve closing member is controlled by the guide part being provided immediately adjacent to the return collar, which guide part has three excisions at its circumference. These excisions are bounded by a flow channel guiding the valve closing member and have a defined flow cross-section of equal size, which in total is of the order of magnitude of the cross-section of the delivery line.

  • Patent number: 5160351
Abstract: The process for cleaning collecting surfaces of dedusting electrostatic precipitators includes the steps of introducing a coarse-grained cleaning dust into the dedusting electrostatic precipitator, collecting at least the cleaning dust electrostatically in the dedusting electrostatic precipitator and periodically removing the cleaning dust so collected from the collecting surfaces to form a collected dust. To provide a more complete cleaning, the cleaning dust is fed into a gas-flowless space above the fields containing the collecting electrodes and the cleaning dust is distributed in the gas-flowless space according to the cleaning requirements. An apparatus for performing the above cleaning process is also described.

  • Patent number: 5160510
Abstract: A process and apparatus are used for purifying dust- and pollutant-containing exhaust gases, which are first subjected in a first stage to a dry purification in a mass separator and are subsequently subjected in a second stage to an electrostatic purification in an electrostatic precipitator. In the second stage the exhaust gases are passed through one or more fields provided with liquid-wetted collecting electrodes, which define gas passages. The electrostatic precipitator also has an overflow trough and a collecting trough for each collecting electrode. Liquid supplied to the overflow trough flows onto the collecting electrode and then is collected in the collecting trough.

  • Patent number: 5137546
Abstract: A process and an apparatus for the electrostatic purification of dust- and pollutant-containing exhaust gases in multiple-field precipitators are proposed. The exhaust gases are first subjected in a first stage to an electrostatic purification under dry conditions in gas passages defined by platelike collecting electrodes and are subsequently passed in a second stage through one or more fields defined by liquid-wetted collecting electrodes, which define gas passages. The liquid which is supplied in the second stage at the top ends of the collecting electrodes is laterally discharged from the precipitator and the substantially dry dust which is still collected in the second stage is fed to dust-receiving means.

  • Patent number: 4925487
Abstract: The separation rate of electrostatic precipitators associated with sintering plants is improved in that the exhaust gas is conditioned by means of solid particles. For that purpose, part of the coke breeze as a fuel for the sintering process is branched off, separately ground, supplied to the exhaust gases to be dedusted, collected together with the dust in the electrostatic precipitators and returned to the sintering process.

  • Patent number: 4852732
Abstract: A package for photoresist material, particularly a dry resist, is substantially impermeable to water vapor, thereby preventing humidity-related effects which adversely influence the processability of the photoresist. The package can comprise a film tubing, the ends of which are closed by welding or gluing, into which a photoresist roll is placed. As the material for the film tubing, a composite material can be used which is formed of a polyester film as the support film, to which an aluminum foil is laminated or which is vacuum-metallized with aluminum and a polyethylene film laminated on top. A tinplate container can also be used as a package, the container being closed by soldering after placing the photoresist material inside the container. These packages generally have a permeability to water vapor of less than 0.01 gram of water vapor per square meter per day, at a humidity gradient of 97% and an ambient temperature of 23.degree. C.

  • Patent number: 4844718
Abstract: When collecting electrode walls are cleaned by rapping blows, a discharge of dust is prevented in that the aligned collecting electrode walls which are arranged one behind the other in the direction of gas flow are cleaned at the same time in all fields, the associated gas passages on opposite sides are shut off at the same time and an entraining gas stream is caused to produce in said gas passages a gas flow which is opposite to the normal direction of gas flow.

  • Patent number: 4264835
Abstract: A slot closure for the semi-closed slots of the stator of an electric machine is disclosed. The slot closure comprises slot closing bars interconnected in a ladder-like arrangement by flexible strips. Flexing of the strips by about 90.degree. correspondingly rotates individual bars and permits them to be successively inserted edge-wise through the slot openings. Advantageously, the ladder-like arrangement of bars and strips is made of a moldable or stampable material.

  • Patent number: 4229548
Abstract: In a process for the production of a plastic organopolysiloxane molding composition which can be stored under pressure and with exclusion of moisture, and which, on release of the pressure and under the action of water or atmospheric moisture, is converted into an elastomeric, fine-pored foam molding or foam coating, which comprises forming a mixture of an .alpha.,.omega.-dihydroxypolydiorganopolysiloxane with a silicon-containing crosslinking agent, introducing the mixture into the inner container of a two-container pack which consists of a rigid outer container and a flexible inner container located within the outer container and provided with a dispensing valve which extends to the exterior, and placing the mixture under pressure.

  • Patent number: 4023960
Abstract: A process is disclosed for cleaning waste gases generated in an at least partially covered movable grate-type sintering line, said sintering line comprising an ignition zone, a sintering zone and a burning zone, wherein waste gases generated in the burning zone are returned to the sintering zone, passed through the sinter charge and at least those waste gases emerging from the last third of the sintering zone are scrubbed after passage through the charge.

  • Patent number: 4007023
Abstract: A dust-collecting electrostatic precipitator has a housing in which a multiplicity of collecting-electrode walls are provided in transversely spaced parallel relationship and defined between two gas channels. Each wall consists of a plurality of individual collecting-electrode strips whose side edges are hooked loosely into the side edges of adjacent strips so as to prevent relative rotation of the strips. At the top, all the strips of each collecting-electrode wall are secured to a common carrier while, at the bottom, the strips of each electrode wall are connected to a common rapping member or bar. The individual collecting-electrode strips are provided with spacers which are distributed over the height of the strip and project transversely therefrom, each spacer being anchored to one strip and extending across one of the gas channels to terminate just short of an opposing electrode strip while defining a gap therewith.
