Abstract: Relationships among incident-addressing steps, applications, and incidents are determined, based on information relating to the applications and the incidents. For addressing a given incident that occurred with respect to a particular application, at least one incident-addressing step is identified using the determined relationships.

Abstract: A distributed code including a plurality of programs is created based on a sequential code that includes at least one call of a first function associated with a future, where at least a first of the plurality of programs is to execute the first function associated with the future, and at least a second of the plurality of programs is to execute a second function in a present section of the sequential code. A normalization function is included in each of the plurality of programs to normalize virtual addresses accessed by the first and second functions.

Abstract: A memory element includes a nonvolatile switch to be set to a first low resistance state by applying a voltage higher than a positive threshold voltage and to a second high resistance state by applying another voltage more negative than a negative threshold voltage. The memory element further includes a volatile switch in series with the nonvolatile switch, the nonvolatile switch to be set to a third low resistance state by applying a current higher than a threshold current and to fourth high resistance state by applying a current lower than the threshold current. A method for operating a memory array with memory elements with series volatile and nonvolatile switches is also provided.

Abstract: In an embodiment, a processor-readable medium stores code representing instructions that when executed by a processor cause the processor to measure a width of a first-sized media page and determine a length that corresponds with the width. Based on the length, a bottom end of the first-sized media page is located, and a calibration pattern is printed in a first page region located relative to the bottom end of the first-sized media page.

Abstract: Examples disclosed herein relate to combining region based image classifiers. In one implementation, a processor measures correct classification and misclassification levels associated with a first image classifier related to a first image feature region and measures correct classification and misclassification levels associated with a second image classifier related to a second image feature region. The processor may create a combined classifier based on the first image classifier correct classification and misclassification levels and based on the second image classifier correct classification and misclassification levels such that the combined classifier is related to the first image feature region and the second image feature region.

Abstract: A technique may include generating a segment from a sentence using a probabilistic model or structure. The probabilistic model/structure may be based on a Hidden Markov Model (HMM).
