An example method may include linking hash tags and people tags with access to at least one topic-based discussion space in the enterprise social network. The method may also include assigning a topic authority score to a user in the enterprise social network. The method may also include matching the user to a skill profile based on the topic authority score of the user.

Abstract: An example method includes presenting a first notification indicating a potential interruption in connectivity between a server and a remote terminal. If the potential interruption is resolved before the expiration of a restart time interval, the first notification is removed. If the potential interruption is not resolved before the expiration of the restart time interval, a second notification is presented, the second notification indicating a loss of connectivity between the server and the remote terminal.

Abstract: A thermally actuated valve is provided herein. The thermally actuated valve includes a valve fitting, a valve body, and a movement control mechanism. The valve fitting includes an active member to selectively activate based on an input. The valve body includes a passive wax member that moves between a passive contraction state and a passive expansion state based on a passive temperature. The movement control mechanism is disposed between the valve fitting and the valve body. The movement control mechanism controls movement of the valve body between an open state and a dosed state based on movement of at least one of the active member and the passive wax member.

Abstract: A method of generating training documents for training a classifying device comprises, with a processor, determining a number of sub-samples in a number of original documents, and creating a number of pseudo-documents from the sub-samples, the pseudo-documents comprising a portion of the number of sub-samples. A device for training a classifying device comprises a processor, and a memory communicatively coupled to the processor. The memory comprises a sampling module to, when executed by the processor, determine a number of sub-samples in a number of original documents, a pseudo-document creation module to, when executed by the processor, create a number of pseudo-documents from the sub-samples, the pseudo-documents comprising a portion of the number of sub-samples, and a training module to, when executed by the processor, train a classifying device to classify textual documents based on the pseudo-documents.

Abstract: A method for making a tone consistency calibration timing decision includes measuring, with sensors and in conjunction with a first tone consistency calibration, a first state of a printer. A second state of the printer is also measured. A machine learning calibration module implemented by a computer processor determines if changes between the first state and second state justify a tone consistency calibration. If the changes between the first state and second state justify a second tone consistency calibration, then the second tone consistency calibration is performed.

Abstract: Example embodiments disclosed herein relate to an automated test to tell computers and humans apart. Building blocks are assembled to generate an image for a test. When the building blocks are configured in at least one orientation, the image includes a line. One or more of the building blocks can be rotated to generate the at least one orientation. The test can be sent to a device. The test is not oriented in the at least one orientation.

Abstract: Techniques for loading device drivers are provided. A configuration space may contain a device identifier. The configuration space may be modified by replacing the device identifier with a pseudo device identifier. In one aspect the pseudo device identifier may be passed to a virtual machine. In another aspect, the pseudo device identifier may be used to load a driver.

An example of the apparatus includes a roller over which a mea passes, the roller including a first end that is dark in color and a second end that is light in color. The example of the apparatus also includes a sensor that is moveable between a first position over the first end of the roller and a second position over the second end of the roller. The sensor detects a first indicator on the media in the first position and a second indicator on the media in the second position. An example of a printing device is also disclosed herein. Abstract: Systems and methods related to magnetic tape heads are provided. A first process forms a first read module on a substrate in accordance with a prior generation recording format. A second process, different than the first, forms a second read module on a substrate in accordance with a present generation recording format. The first and second read modules are directly bonded in parallel such that a single continuous tape reading zone is defined. Write modules can be formed and disposed on opposite sides of and aligned with the tape reading zone. Bidirectional read/write heads, having backward reading compatibility, can be made and used accordingly.

In one example, a mac-sync failure between a pair of communicatively coupled DT switches is detected in real-time. Further, a type of mac-sync failure between the pair of DT switches is dynamically identified upon detecting the mac-sync failure. Furthermore, an information technology (IT) admin is dynamically notified about the type of mac-sync failure between the pair of DT switches.

Abstract: An imaging method includes coating a transfer member with an adhesion promoter in a liquid state, changing the adhesion promoter on the transfer member from the liquid state to at least one of a solid state and a get state, depositing a liquid marking agent on the solidified adhesion promoter corresponding to an image, changing a state of the adhesion promoter from the solid state to the flowable state, and transferring the liquid marking agent and the adhesion promoter in the flowable state from the transfer member to a substrate to form a hard version of the image thereon.
