  • Publication number: 20190377030
Abstract: A control apparatus of a power supply system including a battery, a battery sensor to detect a state quantity of the battery, and a generator to generate a power for the battery includes a controller. The controller executes normal charging control to control battery charging based on a detection result from the battery sensor, by controlling an operation of the generator. The controller executes failsafe control to prioritize battery charging regardless of the detection result from the battery sensor, if the battery sensor is determined to be operating abnormally. The controller executes full charging control to charge the battery until the battery is fully charged, when the failsafe control ends. The controller executes the normal charging control after a state-of-charge of the battery used in the normal charging control is set to a value corresponding to a state where the battery is fully charged, when the full charging control ends.

  • Publication number: 20180135830
Abstract: A horticultural lamp with multichannel LEDs including UVA and near IR (providing an extended range of wavelengths of about 315-800 nm) uses a fluoropolymer diffusing lens to enable excellent transmittance (80 to 90%) of light throughout the extended range while diffusing to create a substantially uniform spectrum throughout the illuminated area by mixing the individual LED wavelength outputs independently of discrete positioning of LEDs on the LED carrier.

  • Patent number: 9520916
Abstract: An opening area between twisted portions of a pair of twisted wires is arranged to be opposite to an opening area of an aperture antenna of each of communication apparatuses. Thus, the use of the pair of twisted wires permits division of electric power among the communication apparatuses and also communication of signals. In particular, among the opening areas between the twisted portions of the pair of twisted wires, only an opening area, which is in between the twisted portion and the twisted portion and is opposite to the aperture antenna, is formed to be larger than a different opening area. This provides a vehicular power line communication system and a transmitter in the system; the system strengthens electromagnetic induction connection between the transmitter and the receiver to permit power line communication.

  • Patent number: 8936167
Abstract: A crane includes a limiting device to limit a raising/lowering angle of the mast during suspending work to be equal to or less than an upper limit angle which is less than a value of the raising/lowering angle when the mast extends vertically; a release device into which a release instruction for causing the limiting device to release the limitation on the raising/lowering angle of the mast is input; and a first detection section adapted to detect that the mast support device is at an overhanging position where the mast support device pushes up and sets the mast in the work posture. The limiting device is operable whenever the first detection section does not detect that the mast support device is at the overhanging position, even if the release instruction is input into the release device, to prohibit the mast from being tilted rearward beyond the upper limit angle.

  • Patent number: 8504748
Abstract: In a communication network system in which a master and a plurality of communication slaves are coupled through a high-potential side bus and a low-potential side bus in a daisy-chain manner, each of the communication slaves includes a control circuit, a resistance element, and a potential difference detecting portion. The control circuit controls communication with the master. The resistance element is inserted into the high-potential side bus at a portion located downstream of a point where the control circuit is coupled with the high-potential side bus. The potential difference detecting portion detects a potential difference between an upstream terminal of the resistance element and the low-potential side bus. The control circuit sets an ID value for communicating with the master in accordance with the potential difference detected by the potential difference detecting portion.
