  • Patent number: 6777991
Abstract: A phase-locked loop apparatus includes a ring oscillator including inverters, first and second transistors, a converter, mirror circuits. The first transistors control a current from a first voltage to the inverters. The second transistors control a current from the inverters. The converter converts the voltage output from the filter into a current. The first mirror circuit outputs a current in accordance with the current output from the converters. The second mirror circuit outputs a current according to the current output from the first mirror circuit to control the first transistors. The third mirror circuit outputs a current according to the current output from the second mirror circuit to control the second transistors. The converter, the first and second mirror circuits operate with a second voltage greater than the first voltage, and the ring oscillator and the third mirror circuit operate with the first voltage.

  • Publication number: 20040129515
Abstract: A cushioning body is made by molding a mixture of shock absorbing gel (heat resistant elastic member) made of polyurethane resin and ferrite particles (electromagnetic wave blocking members) into a box. Since the shock absorbing gel is in a form of gel, it does not have fluidity but has stability in shape, and further has not only shock absorbing ability but also heat resistance and heat radiation ability deriving from thermal conductivity. The ferrite particles are locally distributed on a main board side of a bottom portion of the cushioning body and have an electromagnetic wave blocking ability by absorbing or reflecting the electromagnetic wave to prevent transmittance of the electromagnetic wave.

  • Publication number: 20030188277
Abstract: First, circuit simulation programs are executed based on electric information of a schematic of a semiconductor integrated circuit. Then, LVS (layout versus schematic) programs are executed using the electric information of the schematic and physical layout information corresponding to the schematic. The semiconductor integrated circuit is therefore evaluated by processing circuit design value information obtained from the circuit simulation programs and layout information obtained by execution of the LVS programs.

  • Patent number: 6360171
Abstract: A system-enabled vehicle entering a crossing warns a driver of the vehicle that a possibility of bumping exists, thereby allowing the driver to brake and stop the vehicle in an emergency in front of the crossing. When the system determines a possibility of bumping with another vehicle entering the crossing exists, the system continuously provides controls for decelerating and stopping the vehicle in a range from a point where the system can decelerate the vehicle in an emergency with time allowance for stopping the vehicle in front of the crossing up to a point in front of the crossing.

  • Patent number: 6337637
Abstract: The collision with pedestrian prevention system according to the present invention comprises pedestrian detection means, road surface conditions detection means, road information accumulation means, vehicle position detection means, vehicle state detection means, processing means, information output means, and vehicle control means. Because of the configuration, the driver is alerted the presence of any pedestrian on a pedestrian's crossing and can immediately correct operations for handling the vehicle without being perplexed by the information just about to finish crossing the road. This system works only when there is the possibility of collision between a pedestrian on a pedestrian's crossing and a vehicle, and provides automatic controls for decelerating or stopping the vehicle when the driver can stop the vehicle by emergently braking over a distance from the vehicle to the pedestrian's crossing.

  • Patent number: 4429483
Abstract: An automatic rat killing device includes a box having an opening at its top and a stairway leading to its top. A pair of closure plates are pivotally mounted at their one ends on the box for movement between horizontal positions where the two closure plates are mated together at their other ends to close the opening and vertical positions where the closure plates are separated apart to open the opening. A solenoid is mounted on the box and has a stop lever normally engaged with the closure plates to hold them in their horizontal positions. A container holding a viscous liquid is removably accommodated within the box. A detector generates a detecting signal when a rat touches a bait. The solenoid is energized to move the stop lever out of engagement with the closure member so that the closure plates are moved to their vertical positions, thereby causing the rat to fall into the viscous liquid.
