The second substance includes a bond that is cleft by the reaction with hydrogen peroxide. In an exemplary embodiment, the specimen that is brought in contact with an enzyme that generates the hydrogen peroxide by the reaction with the first substance is introduced to the detection unit in the sensor configured to determine whether the specimen includes the first substance.
