  • Publication number: 20140379566
Abstract: The purpose of the present invention is to transfer value, the balance of which is managed by a server, to a terminal that does not have online connection function. An electronic money server 2 records the balance of a value in a state in which the balance is related to an electronic money card 4 or a portable terminal 5. An off-line payment terminal 7 is not provided with communication network connection function and cannot communicate with the electronic money server 2 directly. On the other hand, the portable terminal 5 can connect to the electronic money server 2 via the Internet 3. Thus, the off-line payment terminal 7 connects to the electronic money server 2 by using the portable terminal 5 as a relay device by using the communication network connection function of the portable terminal 5 at the time of payment. In this way, the electronic money server 2 can connect to the off-line payment terminal 7 and make payment by using the value of the account of the portable terminal 5.

  • Publication number: 20140052627
Abstract: Provided is a payment module capable of making a payment with a total amount of money recharged for one or more electronic values. An IC chip (22) stores balances of the one or more electronic values and a utility electronic value exchangeable from each of the one or more electronic values. The IC chip (22) subtracts an amount of money that is equal to or more than a difference between a payment amount and the balance of the utility electronic value as a total from the balances of the one or more electronic values, and adds the subtracted amount of money to the balance of the utility electronic value. The IC chip (22) subtracts the payment amount from the balance of the utility electronic value after the addition.

  • Publication number: 20140052631
Abstract: Provided is a payment module capable of allowing a total amount of money dispersedly recharged for a plurality of kinds of prepaid values to be used for a payment regardless of which of the prepaid values is used for the payment. An IC chip (22) stores a plurality of kinds of electronic values, and subtracts an amount of money that is equal to or more than a difference between a balance of an electronic value of the plurality of kinds of electronic values that is used for a payment and a payment amount as a total from balances of electronic values of the plurality of kinds of electronic values that are not used for the payment. The IC chip (22) adds the subtracted amount of money to the balance of the electronic value to be used for the payment, and subtracts the payment amount from the balance after the addition.

  • Publication number: 20140046840
Abstract: Provided is a payment module capable of reducing the probability that a balance of each electronic value that is usable for a payment becomes insufficient when the payment is made. An IC chip (22) stores one or more electronic values and a utility electronic value exchangeable from each of the one or more electronic values. The IC chip (22) subtracts, from a balance of the utility electronic value, an amount of money that is equal to or more than a difference between a payment amount and a balance of one electronic value used for a payment among the one or more electronic values. The IC chip (22) adds the amount of money subtracted from the balance of the utility electronic value to the balance of the electronic value used for the payment, and subtracts the payment amount from the resultant balance of the electronic value used for the payment.

  • Publication number: 20120042043
Abstract: A client (such as a PC, portable telephone, PDA, electrical appliances), to which a device such as a IC card is connected, starts a handshake protocol to request a server to start communication. When communication is established via the handshake protocol, the initiative of communication is transferred to the server, and the state changes into a neutral state. In this neutral state, a control packet including a particular number of messages and a finished message is transmitted from the server to the client. If the client receives the control packet, the client performs a process according to the messages included in the control packet. This makes it possible to remotely control a device via a network in a highly reliable and efficient manner.
