  • Publication number: 20070252915
Abstract: 60 fields of an interlace image (telecine image) after 32-pull down is input. The input images stored in field memories are read, and the grayscale difference (difference absolute value) between frames is computed by a pixel difference absolute value subtractor. The difference absolute value and five threshold values are compared by an absolute value difference comparator. A cumulative adder stores one field of comparison result. A flag information creation processing unit creates a flag information table for indicating whether a current field is a repeat field with noise or not, based on the information from the cumulative adder. A repeat field judgment unit detects a 32-pull down sequence from the flag information table, and detects whether the current field is a repeat field with noise or not, and so forth. A 32-transform control unit performs IP (Interlace to Progressive) conversion based on the detected repeat fields.

  • Patent number: 7231052
Abstract: An engine is supported on a vehicle body frame through an active vibration-isolating device. The vibration of the engine is prevented from being transmitted to the vehicle body frame by controlling the active vibration-isolating device. A speaker is disposed within a vehicle compartment. The noise is reduced by adaptively controlling the speaker based on a rotational speed of the engine and a noise detected by a microphone disposed within the vehicle compartment. Thus, the vibration and noise characteristics of the vehicle can be improved by a synergic effect of reducing both the vibration and the noise. Further, because the microphone is inexpensive and the speaker for an audio set can be used without any modification, the present invention can be achieved with a low cost.

  • Patent number: 7202593
Abstract: A steel sheet for an inner magnetic shield has a ratio of the anhysteretic magnetic permeability in the rolling direction to the anhysteretic magnetic permeability in the transversal direction, which is not higher than 0.7 or not lower than 1.4, preferably not higher than 0.5 or not lower than 2.0. A higher value of the two anhysteretic magnetic permeability values in the rolling direction and in the transversal direction is not lower than 18000. The inner magnetic shield formed of the particular steel sheet has a substantially truncated pyramid body which has a pair of short side members of a screen and a pair of long side members of a screen. The short side members are joined to the long side members at edge portions of the truncated pyramidal inner magnetic shield. The direction, in which the anhysteretic magnetic permeability of the steel sheet is the higher value, corresponds to the horizontal plane direction of the short side member.

  • Publication number: 20070046406
Abstract: In an active vibration isolation support system, a movable member is connected to an armature (movable core) of an actuator and moved out and back by the armature, the armature is housed in a sealed space, and a pressure of the sealed space is maintained at substantially atmospheric pressure by a flexible bag that is disposed within the sealed space and communicates with the atmosphere via a through hole formed in a wall defining the sealed space. Therefore, while preventing dust and water from entering the sealed space to prevent malfunction of the armature, a change of pressure is prevented in the sealed space to maintain a neutral position of the movable member, thereby controlling vibration of the movable member with a good precision.

  • Patent number: 7135086
Abstract: A glass substrate of a display panel onto which an organic electroluminescence (EL) element or the like is formed is sealed by affixing the glass substrate and a sealing glass via an adhesive therebetween. During this process, a pressure is applied between the glass substrate and the sealing glass so that a gap between the affixing surfaces achieves a target value and the adhesive is cured. The pressure is changed over time based on conditions such as the viscosity of the adhesive so that quick and precise sealing by the adhesive can be achieved.

  • Patent number: 7106409
Abstract: A glass substrate of a display panel onto which an organic electroluminescence (EL) element or the like is formed is sealed by affixing the glass substrate and a sealing member such as a sealing glass onto which an adhesive has been applied. During this process, the temperature of the adhesive is controlled by, for example, controlling the temperature of the nitrogen gas to fill a chamber through a temperature adjusting device, so that the viscosity of the adhesive is adjusted. In this manner, quick and precise sealing of the display substrate by the sealing member and the adhesive can be achieved.

  • Publication number: 20060191626
Abstract: After a gate line (11), a TFT (1), and a data line (30) are formed, a riblike protective insulation layer (32) which coats the data line is formed on a substrate (10) serving as the element substrate of an active matrix type color liquid crystal display device or an organic EL display device. A color filter layer (42) on a transfer film (40) is press-bonded on this substrate (10) with a roller (46) moving in the extensional direction (columnar direction) of the protecting insulation layer (32). The advancement of the transfer of a color filter in the columnar direction makes it possible to bring the substrate and the color filter in contact without gaps while expelling the gas out of a pixel space in the advancement direction. During the step of forming a color filter, the protecting insulation layer (32) protects the data line (30) from the treatment liquid etc. An organic light emitting element layer is arranged in the pixel space to form an organic EL display device.

  • Patent number: 7097527
Abstract: An opposing substrate which is subjected to desiccant application, baking, UV cleaning, UV sealant application, or the like and an element substrate having EL elements formed thereon are affixed together by applying a sealing liquid such as silicon oil in a vacuum. Subsequently, when exposed to a normal atmosphere, the opposing substrate and the element substrate are adsorbed to each other while a predetermined gap is maintained in between. In this state, the UV sealant is cured with UV irradiation. It is thus possible to enclose the sealing liquid between the opposing substrate and the element substrate using a simple manufacturing method.

  • Patent number: 6952249
Abstract: In a liquid crystal display having liquid crystal sealed between first and second substrates opposing one another, the first substrate is provided with data lines (56) formed overlapping pixel electrodes (58). By forming color filters (1) in a layer between the data lines (56) and the pixel electrodes (58), the distance between the data lines (56) and the pixel electrodes (58) is increased, reducing parasitic capacitance generated therebetween. Effective voltage application to the pixel electrodes (58) is thereby accomplished, allowing increase in contrast. No decrease in transmittance is caused because the thickness of the planarizing film (2) is not increased.
