  • Patent number: 7266341
Abstract: A tuner receives service information SI for each of a plurality of channels included in a digital broadcasting signal at one carrier frequency. A service information extraction unit extracts and stores the received service information preset into a memory. The operator selects the service information stored in the memory and acquires a program. The tuner may have a function of automatically scanning the carrier frequency all over the receivable frequency bands and store it. The temporary service information having irregular broadcast time is stored in the memory through an operation of an operation input unit. When the temporary service information is not broadcast, such temporary service information is deleted from the memory.

  • Publication number: 20060274352
Abstract: A device and a method using an RFID on a stapler needle or a holder provide mechanisms of: relating RFID information and printed information automatically, when a paper document is printed or copied; prohibiting to copy a secret or an expired document; and detecting a paper document bound by a stapler needle with an RFID. Control information is created and identifier 101 of an RFID is changed, and a stapler needle is attached to a printed paper document. To copy a paper document, an identifier of the RFID is obtained to control printing by determining whether or not the document is a secret document or an expired document. • Publication number: 20060020174
Abstract: A physical activity measuring system analyzes analyzing body motions of a user to accurately determine the exercise intensity. The system includes a portable device which is adapted to be carried by the user and is equipped with a body sensor and an indicator for indication of the exercise intensity. The body sensor senses the user's body motions to give corresponding motion strength. The portable device has a processor which constitutes an exercise calculator which has a predetermined relationship between a default standard deviation of the motion strength and an exercise intensity scale. The exercise intensity calculator collects a time series data of the motion strengths within a predetermined first time frame, obtains a standard deviation of thus collected motion strengths, and converting the standard deviation into an instant exercise intensity within the intensity scale in accordance with the predetermined relationship.

  • Publication number: 20050246553
Abstract: A mobile terminal which is usable by a plurality of users enables only a regular user to browse data for the regular user of the mobile terminal. An IC card 3 installed in a mobile terminal stores an encryption key 4 and a decryption key 5. Input data 10 is subjected to data encryption processing by using the encryption key 4 read from the IC card 3 to be transformed to encrypted data 14 and is then stored in a storage device 7. In addition, the encrypted data 14 read from the storage device 7 is subjected to decryption processing 6 in data decryption processing 200 by using the decryption key 5 to be decrypted to the original data. For different IC cards, different encryption keys 4 and different decryption keys 5 are assigned, and therefore, the data 14 will be subjected to the decryption processing 6 with a different decryption key 5. Consequently, the data 14 thus encrypted will not be decrypted correctly.
