    Abstract: This filter frame (10) for a camera has: a front-side ring (4) for holding a first polarization filter (2) on the inner peripheral side thereof; a rear-side ring (5) disposed concentrically and behind the front-side ring (4), and capable of rotatably holding the front-side ring (4); and a rotation angle range-regulating mechanism (58) for regulating the angular range for the relative rotation of the front-side ring (4) and the rear-side ring (5). The rotation angle range-regulating mechanism (58) is provided with: a protruding portion (16) provided on the rear-facing annular surface (33) of the front-side ring (4); and a circular arc groove (17) which is provided in the front-facing annular surface (56) of the rear-side ring (5), and into which the protruding portion (16) is inserted. When the protruding portion (16) is positioned at an end of the circular arc groove (17), the relative rotational angle position of the front-side ring (4) and the rear-side ring (5) can be regulated.

    Abstract: A photoelectric conversion device includes a plurality of pixels. Each pixel includes an amplification transistor that has an input node configured to receive electric charge generated through photoelectric conversion, a reset transistor, and a capacitance control unit. In a state where the reset transistor is off, the capacitance control unit switches a capacitance of the input node from a first capacitance value to a second capacitance value, which is greater than the first capacitance value. Subsequently, the reset transistor is controlled from off to on in a state where the capacitance of the input node has been controlled to the second capacitance value. After the reset operation, the amplification transistor outputs a pixel signal in a state where the capacitance of the input node is the first capacitance value.

    Abstract: In a Rankine cycle system, a part of a liquid-phase heat medium that boils in a heat medium passage of an engine changes to a gas-phase heat medium. The gas-phase heat medium is superheated by a superheater that superheats by heat exchange with exhaust gas of the engine to be superheated steam. The superheated steam that passes through the superheater is blown to a turbine to rotate the turbine, and thereafter is condensed in a condenser. The turbine is connected to an output shaft of the engine by a power transmission pathway, and the power transmission pathway is provided with a clutch mechanism. A turbine outlet valve is provided between the turbine and the condenser, and an ECU closes the turbine outlet valve when the power transmission pathway is disconnected by an action of the clutch mechanism.
