  • Publication number: 20190038294
Abstract: A system and method of delivering and detaching an implant within a body of a patient is described. A tether connects an implant with a delivery device. The delivery device includes a heater coil through which the tether passes. The inner diameter of the heater coil is about the same size or slightly larger than the outer diameter of the tether, allowing the tether to more efficiently break the tether during delivery.

  • Publication number: 20180154283
Abstract: The ventilation pipe 60 having the openings at both the ceiling side and the bottom side is provided in the area where the rectification boards 50a to 50f are arranged, thereby nitrogen released from water (nitrogen released from water based on that gas dissolved in water is substituted by oxygen) can be moved to the ceiling side of the retainer body through the ventilation pipe 60. Thereby, nitrogen can be effectively exhausted from the exhaust opening 30a, thus it can be restrained that nitrogen is accumulated in the retainer body 10. Accordingly, it can be restrained that oxygen concentration (partial pressure) in the retainer body 10 decreases. Since oxygen quantity dissolved in water is increased, gas dissolved in water can be effectively substituted.

  • Patent number: 9988156
Abstract: A cylindrical case includes a case main body, and a groove disposed annularly at one end of the case main body. A peripheral wall of the case main body is formed by alternately laminating a biaxial fabric layer, which includes a biaxial fabric of a non-crimp structure composed of reinforcing fiber bands having an orientation angle of ±45°, and a roving layer. A groove wall of the groove is formed by alternately laminating the biaxial fabric layer, which continues to the case main body side, and a triaxial fabric layer, which includes a triaxial fabric of a non-crimp structure composed of reinforcing fiber bands having an orientation angle of ±45° and a reinforcing fiber band having an orientation angle of 0°.

  • Patent number: 9968358
Abstract: In one embodiment, the present invention relates to a mechanically releasable delivery system. More specifically, this embodiment includes an implantable device secured by tether at a distal end of the delivery system. The tether is fixed to the implantable device and looped around a selectively slidable mandrel. When the mandrel is retracted to expose its distal end, the looped tether slides off the mandrel, freeing the implantable device. Alternately, the tether can be fixed to the delivery system, wrapped around a portion of the implantable device and looped on to the slidable mandrel. Preferably, movement of the mandrel is controlled by an actuation control on the handle of the delivery system, allowing the user to selectively release the implantable device during a medical procedure.

  • Patent number: 9963986
Abstract: A coupling support member including a pair of divided pieces is placed between an end portion of a guide vane and an attachment flange, and the pair of divided pieces is joined to the vane end portion from both sides in the vane thickness direction. A linear protrusion is formed on one of joint surfaces of the vane end portion. A groove engaged with the linear protrusion is formed in one of respective joint surfaces of the pair of divided pieces. The vane end portion is fastened between the pair of divided pieces. It is possible to obtain a high structural strength while contributing to a reduction in weight of a jet engine.

  • Patent number: 9756763
Abstract: To provide a cooling fluid supply apparatus capable of continuing cooling a heat load even when supply of a cooling fluid stops while the heat load is running. A cooling fluid circulation path connecting a cooling fluid supply apparatus and a heat load and a heat-dissipating fluid circulation path connecting the cooling fluid supply apparatus and a heat-dissipating fluid supply apparatus are connected with bypass pipes and disposed therebetween. When a cooling fluid is supplied from the cooling fluid supply apparatus to the heat load, the cooling fluid circulation path and heat-dissipating fluid circulation path are disconnected by closing the bypass pipes and by using the overheating prevention valves.

  • Patent number: 9253177
Abstract: The authentication system includes a plurality of user terminals that are used by the same user, and a server capable of communicating with the plurality of user terminals. A user terminal transmits, to the server, an identification ID of the user terminal, a first code that is used in common in the plurality of user terminals, and a second code that was encrypted using the first code. The server is configured to decrypt the encrypted second code using the first code, and perform authentication of the user terminal using the identification ID and the decrypted second code. The server, upon receiving a second code that is not encrypted from one of the plurality of user terminals, transmits the second code that was encrypted using the first code to the one of the user terminals.

  • Publication number: 20150336323
Abstract: A blank sheet including a plurality of main fibers arranged in parallel with each other, auxiliary fibers and a resin that consolidates the fibers is heated to a temperature at which the resin softens, and then pressed against a fan blade mold with the direction of the main fibers aligned with the longitudinal direction of the fan blade mold. The fan blade mold is shaped so that the length thereof in the longitudinal direction along the surface of a center part thereof in the width direction is shorter than the length thereof in the longitudinal direction along the surface of end parts thereof in the width direction. When the blank sheet is pressed against the fan blade mold, a center part in the width direction of the blank sheet at an end part in the longitudinal direction is pulled with a greater force than end parts in the width direction of the blank sheet at the end part in the longitudinal direction, thereby preventing occurrence of wrinkling.
