  • Publication number: 20040134756
Abstract: A transfer system includes transfer lines (L) each of which forms a closed loop and has transfer-in stations (S1 and S3) and transfer-out stations (S2 and S4) for assembling parts to a work, while circulating the work along the transfer line (L); and a work and part transfer passage (51) for transferring the work and the parts. Transfer-in stations (S1 and S3) and the transfer-out stations (S2 and S4) are disposed at each of the longitudinal ends of each of the transfer lines (L). Sub-transfer-passages (521 and 522) branching out rightward and leftward from the work and part transfer passage (51), are disposed along longitudinal sides of the transfer lines (L). With this layout, a plurality of the transfer lines (L) can be disposed in a required minimum space, while securing a smooth supply and discharge of the works and parts with respect to the plurality of the transfer lines L.

  • Patent number: 6626282
Abstract: A transfer line (L) is formed by a first conveyer (C1) and a second conveyer (C2) which are disposed in parallel to each other for transferring a pallet, a first traverser (T1) for transporting the pallet (P) from a terminal end of the first conveyer (C1) to a start end of the second conveyer (C2), and a second traverser (T2) for transporting the pallet (P) from a terminal end of the second conveyer (C2) to a start end of the first conveyer (C1). The first and second conveyers (C1 and C2) are operable to drive main drive rollers (22) provided at start ends of the conveyers by bringing the rollers into abutment against side surfaces of rearmost pallets (P) in the advancing direction, thereby urging and collectively driving a plurality of pallets (P) which are connected together forwardly of the rearmost pallets (P) in a state in contact with the rearmost pallets. This enables the length of the transfer line (L) to be changed as desired without modification of a drive device for the pallet (P).

  • Patent number: 6317409
Abstract: A multiplexing system utilizes the whole transmission bandwidth without inducing interchannel interference for a linear channel with additive noise. Using the multiplexing system, the linear distortion channel is decomposed into independent linear distortion subchannels. Treating z-transforms as polynomials, a multiplexer at a receiver utilizes the Chinese remainder procedure to combine subchannel signals into a multiplexed signal to be transmitted through a single transmission channel. A demultiplexer at a receiver recovers the transmitted subchannel signals by taking residue polynomials on the factor polynomials used in the Chinese remainder procedure. The multiplexer that combines M subchannel signals of length K may be implemented by K M-point IFFT processors using 1−ej2&pgr;m/Mz−K (m=0 to M−1) as relatively prime polynomials required in the Chinese remainder procedure.

  • Patent number: 4709874
Abstract: A clutch mechanism for a fishing reel wherein the shaft supporting the spool is selectively engaged and disengaged from the drive mechanism through a clutch. The clutch also actuates a spring bias link having an opening therein that includes a stepped and elongated portion. A kick pawl pivotally affixed to the link is disposed to lie between the teeth of a ratchet which is driven by the handle of the fishing reel. Upon turning the handle, the kick pawl moves the link such that the projection moves into the elongated portion of the opening in the link, thereby allowing a spring that biases the clutch to engage the pinion gear with the spool shaft.

  • Patent number: 4625564
Abstract: A vortex flow meter includes a vibration sensing element having a sensor responsive to an external vibration and a sensor responsive to a vortex train at vertically opposite ends thereof. The sensing element is fixed to a conduit fulcrumed at an intermediate portion thereof. A vortex shedding member is integrally and oscillatably mounted in a lower portion of the sensing element. The flow meter can be assembled merely by being positioned in the conduit and, due to an integral structure, it is effectively applicable even to small diameter conduits through which fluids flow at very small flow rates. In a path along which leads from a sensor responsive to pressure variations due to vortex trains are routed to a transducer box, vibration of the transducer box is prevented from reaching the sensor via the leads, thereby rendering the flow meter less susceptive to externally derived vibrations.

  • Patent number: 4406427
Abstract: In a clutch mechanism for use in a fishing reel of the type wherein a pinion is coupled with or disconnected from a spool shaft by a clutch cam and a clutch bar so as to transmit or interrupt torque applied by an operating handle to the spool shaft. A kick lever is provided which is pivotally mounted on a cover of the clutch mechanism and operated by a push button, a slider pivotally connected to the kick lever, and a pawl pivotally mounted on the slider to engage and disengage a ratchet which is mounted on the cover. The pawl is maintained by a spring at a position slightly displaced from a line interconnecting an axis of the ratchet wheel and a center of rotation of the pawl thus avoiding arresting of the pawl by a tooth of the ratchet wheel.
