  • Publication number: 20090185117
Abstract: An object of the present invention is to prevent irregular burrs from being created on the surface during cutting due to the cutting line crossing over the sealing material when a liquid crystal display panel is separated from a mother substrate. When the sealing material 30 is applied using a dispenser, the starting point 31 and the finishing point 32 of the sealing material are at points inside the cutting line 40, and thus, the cutting line 40 is prevented from crossing the sealing material 30 when the liquid crystal display panel is separated from a mother substrate 100. As a result, the breaking line 42 runs straight down from the scribe line 41, creating a clean cross section. Even though the starting point 31 and the finishing point 32 of the sealing material 30 are at points inside the liquid crystal display panel, the starting point 31 and the finishing point 32 are formed so as to be contained within the black matrix in frame form in the periphery, and thus, the display region is not affected.

  • Publication number: 20090182115
Abstract: Disclosed are a polyamic acid containing not less than 10 mol % of a repeating unit represented by the formula [1] below, and a polyimide represented by the formula [2] below which is obtained from such a polyamic acid. The polyamic acid and polyimide have high heat resistance as shown by a thermal decomposition temperature of not less than 300° C. In addition, the polyamic acid and polyimide have good workability because of their high solubility in solvents, while exhibiting good light transmission. (In the formulae, R1 and R2 independently represent a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having 1 to 10 carbon atoms; R3 and R4 independently represent a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, an alkyl group having 1 to 10 carbon atoms or a phenyl group, or alternatively R3 and R4 on adjacent carbon atoms may combine together to form a cycloalkyl group having 3 to 8 carbon atoms or a phenyl group; R5 represents a divalent organic group; and n represents an integer of not less than 2.

  • Patent number: 7539941
Abstract: The present invention is directed to a performance data editing system embodied within a computer system (or electronic musical instrument) equipped with a display and a mouse. The present invention provides a score window containing various types of execution icon layers onto which execution ions representing exection-related data for adding articulation to a music tone are attached and arranged in conformity with a progression of a musical tune on a screen of the display. Each layer can be controlled in response to various commands. The present invention further allows a user (or music editor) to select desired execution icons from an icon select palette that provides lists of execution icons which are registered in advance. In addition, the present invention allows a user to modify parameters of a specific icon, as well as add icons to or delete icons from a prescribed display area (e.g., layer window) using drag-and-drop operations.

  • Publication number: 20090052835
Abstract: The present invention provides a multilayer wiring board in which warpage during reflow soldering can be reduced even if there is no sufficient space for disposing a dummy pattern or if a dummy pattern cannot be disposed. A difference between the ratios of copper remaining in wiring layers causes a difference between the amounts of thermal expansion of the wiring layers. The fiber bundle content of at least one resin base material layer is made different from that of the other resin base material layers, to cause a difference between the amounts of thermal expansion of the resin base material layers. This difference between the amounts of thermal expansion of the resin base material layers is used to cancel the difference between the amounts of thermal expansion of the wiring layers. Thus, warpage of the board during reflow soldering is reduced.

  • Patent number: 7495165
Abstract: A performance data editing system is actualized by a computer system (or electronic musical instrument) which is equipped with a display and a mouse. The system initially provides a score window containing various types of execution icon layers onto which execution icons (representing musical symbols such as bend-up/down, grace-up/down, dynamics, glissando, tremolo) are attached and arranged in conformity with a progression of a musical tune on a screen of the display. Each of the layers is independently controlled in response to various commands such as display-on, small-scale display, display-off and vertical rearrangement. The system allows a user (or music editor) to select desired execution icons from an icon select palette that provides lists of execution icons which are registered in advance. In addition, the system also allows the user to modify parameters of a specific icon which is selected from among the execution icons attached onto the score window.

  • Publication number: 20080127799
Abstract: In a musical keyboard instrument, a keyboard having a plurality of keys that pivotally move about a frame is mechanically isolated from a tone generator having a plurality of operating members allowing musical tones to be generated in response to the keys being depressed. A plurality of key-depression detection devices are arranged for the keys so as to detect the key-depression operations applied to the keys. A drive control device drives the operating members so as to generate musical tones in response to key-depression signals output from the key-depression detection devices upon detection of the key-depression operations applied to the keys. Thus, it is possible for the player, in particular, a weak person, to easily and rapidly perform key-depression operations, thus realizing desired musical performance of the musical keyboard instrument.
