  • Patent number: 9632291
Abstract: There is provided an infrared optical system includes a light collecting lens having a curved light collecting surface for collecting infrared light incident from an object side, the lens being made of resin having a stepped shape being gradually deeper from periphery to center; and an optical path length correction element for correcting a difference in an optical path length produced by the stepped shape of the light collecting lens. The above-described stepped shape is provided to allow the lens to be thinner than the lens having the plano-convex shape. In other words, the infrared transmittance of the optical system is improved. In addition, the optical path length correction element can correct a difference in an optical path length produced by the stepped shape of the light collecting lens.

  • Publication number: 20150331499
Abstract: An information processing apparatus, an input apparatus, an information processing system, an information processing method, and a program that are capable of improving operability when a target object is selected on a screen are provided. A control apparatus is provided to which, when a button is pressed in a state where a pointer is indicating an area around an icon on a screen, a signal indicating that the button has been pressed and a signal of positional information of the pointer at that time are input, and the control apparatus performs movement control such that the pointer indicates the icon based on those signals. Therefore, even when the pointer is not directly indicating the icon, the icon can be indicated by indicating the area around the icon, thus improving operability in selecting the icon on the screen by the pointer.

  • Patent number: 9140895
Abstract: Provided is an imaging apparatus including an imaging element section, an imaging optical system, a transmission/block section, an actuator, and an output section. The imaging element section includes a plurality of pixels, and the imaging optical system forms an image on the imaging element section, the image being formed by an electromagnetic wave from the outside. The transmission/block section transmits and blocks the electromagnetic wave to/against the imaging element section, the transmission/block section being disposed at an aperture stop position in the imaging optical system. The actuator drives the transmission/block section to move back and forth to be changed in state between transmission and blocking. The output section produces an image signal output being differential signaling between a pixel output from the imaging element section when the transmission/block section is in the transmission state, and a pixel output from the imaging element section when it is in the blocking state.
