    Abstract: For use with a self-propelled object, a toy can be formed having a housing with a playing surface located thereon. The playing surface includes a circular depression having a member rotatably mounted in the circular depression and capable of rotating in the circular depression. An element and gear train are associated with the member to rotate the member in response to movement of the element. The member includes a surface which is in alignment with the playing surface such that the self-propelled object can be located on the playing surface and directed toward the member. When the object moves itself onto the member, the member is rotated, allowing the object to move off of the member in a different orientation with respect to the playing surface. A retaining rib is formed on the playing surface adjacent to the periphery of the rotatable member and partially surrounding it to inhibit movement of the object. Scoring depressions deep enough to retain the object are formed in the playing surface.

    Abstract: A game capable of receiving and then seemingly randomly dispensing objects includes a housing which has an accumulator chamber located therein. The accumulator chamber can receive individual objects, accumulate them, and then dispense the objects so accumulated. An activation member is mounted on the housing in association with the accumulator chamber. Further, a chance member is mounted on the housing in association with the activation member. The chance member is capable of moving between a plurality of positions, at least one of the positions being a dispensing position. The activation member moves the chance member on the housing between its positions in response to reception of one of the objects in the accumulator chamber by the depositing of the object in the accumulator chamber. Objects are accumulated in the accumulator chamber as they are so deposited, with the chance member being moved with the deposition of each of the individual objects.

The hinge member is preferably constructed as a unitary body out of a resilient, elastomeric material such as a natural or synthetic rubber so as to include ends which are sufficiently large and massive so as to be incapable of bending connected by a flexible portion shaped so as to permit bending between the ends of the hinge member and so as to permit the ends being twisted relative to one another no more than about 90 degrees when the ends are located so as to be in alignment with one another. The flexible portion also permits twisting between the ends of the hinge member when the ends are not located in alignment with one another.

A member simulating a member which is moved as a game is played is supported on the carriage so as to be moved as the carriage is moved. This member is of such a character as to be capable of being viewed through the front surface of the housing. Two separate structures are provided for moving the carriage. One of these is mounted adjacent to one end of the housing and the other is mounted adjacent to the other end of the housing.

    Abstract: A disc bowling game employing a rotatably mounted turntable provided with a playing surface, a multi-faced deflection member rotatably mounted on top of the turntable, and adjustable bowling chutes for directing disc-shaped game pieces onto the playing surface of the turntable. The turntable rotates in one direction while the deflection member rotates in the opposite direction with an eccentric motion sweeping the playing surface of the turntable. The playing pieces are bowled down the chutes at angles selected by the players to strike the faces of the deflection member and/or to be deposited directly on the playing surface of the turntable. The object of the game is for each player to deposit as many of his playing pieces as possible in selected target compartments adjacent the rotating turntable.
