  • Publication number: 20050271321
Abstract: A fault searching system for an optical line searches a fault in an optical line connected with an optical fiber carrying out data transmission between from a transmission apparatus at a center station side via an optical divider (PON) up to a user optical terminal. An OTDR carries out a test for the optical fiber based on backward scattering light or return light from the optical fiber by making test light be incident into the optical fiber. A connecting unit detaches a terminal portion of the optical line at an inside of the user optical terminal from the inside of the user optical terminal, and connects the OTDR to the terminal portion of the optical line. An incident unit makes at least one of test light with a wavelength different from a wavelength of light used for data transmission in the optical line, and test light whose peak level is less than or equal to a predetermined level be incident upon the terminal portion of the optical line from the OTDR.

  • Patent number: 6795063
Abstract: Image data of the respective colors are converted, by look-up tables in which &ggr; correction data are stored, into gradation data that are white-balanced with intervention of the V-T characteristics of liquid crystal panels. The generated gradation data are supplied to D/A converters and the liquid crystal panels via liquid crystal driving circuits. Gamma correction data within dynamic ranges that are set for each display apparatus by measuring a luminance ratio and contrast ratios of the respective colors are written to the look-up tables in advance. As a result, all they correction data stored in the look-up tables can be used effectively. The invention is directed to such a method for generating data of look-up tables and an image display apparatus that performs gradation correction by using thus-formed look-up tables.

  • Publication number: 20040138024
Abstract: This automatic clutch control device selects a normal mode when a road friction coefficient is not less than 0.3 at a disconnecting operation starting point (time t1), selects a little low-speed mode when it is not less than 0.1 but less than 0.3 and selects a low-speed mode when it is less than 0.1. Further, when a vehicle stabilizing control such as a traction control or the like is not executed at the time t1, this device selects the normal mode, while when a vehicle stabilizing control is executed at the time t1, it selects the low-speed mode. Moreover, this device selects a high-speed mode when the vehicle is in a sports running mode at the time t1, while selects the normal mode when the vehicle is not in the sports running mode. A connecting operation of a clutch is performed with a speed corresponding to the selected mode in an automatic clutch connecting/disconnecting control by a clutch connecting/disconnecting actuator upon executing a gear-shift control.

  • Publication number: 20020135828
Abstract: The present invention uses linear chromaticity conversion to carry out color reproduction of an LCD compatible with a CRT. According to the invention, an inputted signal is subjected to a similar processing to a conventional case in a signal processing portion which is used in a conventional CRT display. A light source chromaticity conversion processing portion carries out a &ggr; correction to the signal inputted from the signal processing portion in a &ggr; operation portion by using &ggr;1=&ggr;crt of the same nonlinear characteristics as the CRT, and further carries out an operation of a chromaticity conversion matrix in a matrix operation portion. An LCD inverse &ggr; correction portion uses &ggr;2 establishing &ggr;_lcd=&ggr;lcd/&ggr;2=1 to carry out an inverse &ggr; correction to the inputted signal.
