  • Publication number: 20060020513
Abstract: A poster with an RF IC tag is adhered to a poster adhering unit. ID information of the poster is read from the RF IC tag with an RF IC tag reader and sent to a control device. By using this tag ID information, the control device acquires detailed information on each of advertisement contents of the poster adhered to the poster adhering unit, from a contents server. As a user points out a position of the advertisement contents to which the user paid attention, the control device detects the pointed position from an output of ultrasonic sensors, and provides the user with the detailed information by using a display and a speaker in a contents reproducing unit.

  • Patent number: 6708878
Abstract: When a user accesses an IC card system, the user intentionally registers processing or actions necessary for an IC card to an IC card management system, or the system determines a predetermined state to register the processing to the IC card management system. The IC card management system beforehand delivers the actions to an IC card terminal. Thereafter, when the user inserts the IC card of which the necessary actions have been registered to the IC card management system to the IC card terminal, the IC card terminal executes the actions corresponding to the IC card.

  • Patent number: 6380566
Abstract: An N-MOSFET is formed on an SOI substrate consisting of a semiconductor substrate, an insulating layer and an n−-active layer. A p-well layer, an n-RESURF layer, and an n-diffusion layer are formed in the surface of the n−-active layer between a source electrode and a drain electrode by means of impurity diffusion. The diffusion regions of the p-well layer and the n-RESURF layer overlap with each other. An end of the n-RESURF layer reaches a position below a gate electrode. The diffusion regions of the p-well layer and the n-diffusion layer do not overlap with each other, so that the n-RESURF layer has a region in direct contact with the n−-active layer between the p-well layer and the n-diffusion layer.

  • Patent number: 6188653
Abstract: A first laser beam and a second laser beam are selectively generated. The first or the second laser beam is irradiated on an optical storage medium having a recording layer on which main data has been recorded. The main data includes data to be reproduced and reproduction management data. The laser beam selection is made according to the reproduction management data. The first laser beam has a first laser power capable of carrying the main data without erasing when reflected from the optical storage medium. On the other hand, the second laser beam has a second laser power capable of erasing the main data from the optical storage medium while carrying the main data when reflected from the optical storage medium. The data to be reproduced and carried by the first or the second laser beam is then reproduced.
