  • Publication number: 20060152555
Abstract: In the head of an inkjet recording device, current plates are arranged along each row and between each row of supply openings. One end and the other end of each current plate do not both contact a side wall of an ink pool chamber, and a gap is formed there. Ink injected from an injection port flows along an ink channel formed by the current plates, and is sent to a pressure chamber via an ink supply path from each supply opening. The ink from the ink pool chamber flows in a regular manner and no stagnation is generated, and bubbles are smoothly eliminated.

  • Publication number: 20060075156
Abstract: The present invention prompts path switching in accordance with the state of occurrence of intermittent failures, and prevents the responsiveness of a storage system from declining, or the like. Here, it is supposed, for example, that a host 1 is performing data communications with a storage device 2 by means of the path P1, and that an intermittent failure such as a communications time-out has occurred in path P1 on a number of occasions equal to or exceeding the prescribed threshold value. In this case, the controller 3 sends back a hardware error response in reply to an access from the host 1. Upon receiving a hardware error response from the storage device 2, the path control section 1B switches from the path P1 where the intermittent failure was detected (the original path) to a path P2 that is functioning normally (the target path), and then re-attempts the access command.

  • Publication number: 20050121156
Abstract: A deinking method using a cellulase which enables the load upon the environment to be reduced; and an evaluation method whereby a cellulase effective in deinking and the effective addition level of the cellulase can be appropriately determined. By proposing pulp-swelling activity (PSA) that elevates the water-retention value of pulp after pulp is reacted with cellulase, it becomes possible to select an enzyme that is effective in cellulase-deinking treatment without lowering the paper strength and to determine the effective enzyme dosage. Namely, a method of deinking waste paper is provided wherein the selection of an effective cellulase and the optimization of the enzyme dosage with the use of PSA as an indication make it possible to minimize the cellulase addition level and lessen the amount of the deinking agent.
