  • Patent number: 7562521
Abstract: The flow of exhaust gas flowing through the SCR muffler becomes good, thus improving the efficiency of purging nitrogen oxide (NOx) contained in exhaust gas. Further, vibrations that are caused by vibrations of the vehicle, exhaust gas, and the like, to which a reducing agent, etc., supplying nozzle is subject, are suppressed or reduced, thus improving the efficiency of an SCR catalyst purging nitrogen oxide (NOx) and the durability of the reducing agent, etc., supplying nozzle. The SCR muffler comprises an SCR catalyst 1 for selectively reducing and purging nitrogen oxide (NOx) contained in exhaust gas; an exhaust pipe 2 that allows the exhaust gas to flow into the SCR catalyst; and a reducing agent, etc., supplying means 3 that supplies a reducing agent or a reducing agent precursor to the exhaust gas. A plate 4 having air holes 5 which disperse and make a flow of the exhaust gas uniform is provided downstream of the reducing agent, etc., supplying means and upstream of the SCR catalyst.

  • Publication number: 20070180816
Abstract: A NOx reduction catalyst and an ammonia slip oxidation catalyst are disposed in an exhaust system in this order, and also, an electric fan is disposed on piping which communicates an upper space of a storage tank storing therein a reducing agent with the exhaust upstream of the NOx reduction catalyst. Then, when the temperature of the ammonia slip oxidation catalyst reaches or exceeds the temperature for activating a catalyst thereof, the electric fan is operated for a predetermined period of time, so that the gas (ammonia series gas) in the upper space of the storage tank is forcibly discharged to the upstream side of the NOx reduction catalyst. Further, a discharge-forcing device, such as an electric fan or the like, forcibly discharging the gas in the upper space of the storage tank, an adsorbing device temporarily adsorbing thereto the forcibly discharged gas and an oxidation catalyst oxidizing the gas desorbed from the adsorbing device, may be disposed to the storage tank in this order.

  • Publication number: 20070163232
Abstract: Clogging of an injection nozzle which supplies a reducing agent to the exhaust gas on an upstream side of a reduction catalyst in the exhaust gas passage is prevented, and the efficiency of NOx purification processing is improved. A reducing agent supply unit uses a detection signal of the exhaust gas temperature from a temperature detection device to set a supply quantity at or above a lower limit for cooling the interior of an injection nozzle to below the temperature at which urea water crystallizes, for the detected exhaust gas temperature, and supplies urea water to the injection nozzle at the set supply quantity. By such supply of urea water, the interior of the injection nozzle is cooled to below the temperature at which the urea water crystallizes. As a result, the urea water does not crystallize inside the injection nozzle, and clogging of the injection nozzle can be prevented.

  • Publication number: 20070121405
Abstract: There is provided a semiconductor memory device for acceleration in burst mode. The semiconductor memory device has a burst mode for serially reading multiple bits of data in synchronization with both edges of a clock. Multiple memory blocks are geometrically arranged correspondingly to the multiple bits. An address selection circuit selects a memory cell from the memory blocks. Data read from the memory blocks is parallel transmitted to an output circuit. The output circuit first outputs data from a memory block to which data is transmitted fastest among the multiple memory blocks. The output circuit serially outputs data in the fixed order in synchronization with both edges of the clock.

  • Patent number: 7164287
Abstract: The present invention provides a semiconductor device that can shorten the initialization cycle of impedance matching of interface buffers and reduce as much as possible affects on other circuits at the time of fine control thereafter. The semiconductor device (1) includes interface buffers (18a to 18c) whose internal impedances are controlled by impedance control data and an impedance control circuit (35) that generates the impedance control data. The impedance control circuit includes a first impedance control mode that initially generates the impedance control data by a binary search and comparison operation resulting from predetermined impedance control steps and sets the impedance control data in the interface buffers, and a second impedance control mode that updates the impedance control data set in the interface buffers by a sequential comparison operation resulting from the predetermined impedance control steps.
