  • Publication number: 20040259715
Abstract: A method for producing CRT funnel glass having a glass composition containing MgO, CaO, SrO, BaO and ZnO as essential components. Further, the total content of MgO, CaO, SrO, BaO and ZnO falls within a range of 5 to 13 mass %. As a glass material of the CRT funnel glass, CRT panel glass or CRT neck glass may be used. The method comprises preparing the glass material so as to contain MgO, CaO, SrO, BaO, and ZnO as essential components and so that the total content of MgO+CaO+SrO+BaO+ZnO falls within a range of 5 to 13 mass %; and melting the glass material.

  • Patent number: 6822383
Abstract: In order to suppress production of devitrifying stones such as barium disilicate and strontium silicate and to achieve a high X-ray absorbability, a CRT panel glass does not substantially contain PbO and contains, in mass percent, 9-9.5% SrO and 8.5-9% BaO. In addition, the value of SrO/(SrO+BaO) is set to 0.50-0.53. Therefore, the CRT panel glass has an X-ray absorption coefficient of 28.0 cm−1 or more at 0.6 Å.

  • Publication number: 20030106740
Abstract: A speaker edge is made of a thermosetting composition consisting of a polyurethane prepolymer and an inactivated solid polyamine as a latent hardener. A gas is dispersed in the thermosetting composition, prior to feed into a mold, so that it can foam and solidify to give the speaker edge. In a method of making the speaker edge, the composition will be injected into a female mold segment heated below the critical thermosetting temperature, foaming the composition. Then placed in the female segment is a male segment heated above the critical temperature, causing the ingredients to react with each other to solidify in the mold.

Abstract: A lower electrode 106 on which a wafer W can be placed and an upper electrode 108 are provided facing each other inside a processing chamber 102 of an etching apparatus 100. A first high frequency power supply 116 capable of outputting high frequency power for plasma generation is connected to the upper electrode 108 via a first matching device 114. A second high frequency power supply 122 capable of outputting high frequency power for biasing having a frequency lower than the frequency of the high frequency power for plasma generation is connected to the lower electrode 106 via a second matching device 120. Power that enables, at least, matching of the high frequency power for biasing is applied to the lower electrode 106 concurrently with the application of the high frequency power for plasma generation at a stable power level to the upper electrode 108. When the matching period has elapsed, the high frequency power for biasing applied to the lower electrode 106 is raised to the stable power level.
