  • Publication number: 20060111536
Abstract: The present invention provides an organic polymer produced by selectively and quantitatively introducing a plurality of epoxy-containing silicon groups in the ends of any one of various organic polymers. The present invention also provides a process for easily producing the polymer, in which deterioration of polymers during the introduction of epoxy groups does not occur, or no labor for purification or the like due to the generation of by-products is required. For example, the organic polymer having epoxy-containing silicon groups at its ends is produced by addition reaction between an organic polymer having unsaturated groups at its ends and a hydrosilane compound having an epoxy group.

  • Publication number: 20050180155
Abstract: An interior illumination lamp includes a body 30 for being fixed to a vehicle body 11, and a lamp 50 which is angularly movably supported on a support portion 33 mounted on the body 30, and has a lens 54 capable of transmitting a beam from a light source 37 therethrough. The lamp 50 includes a first bezel 52 angularly movably supported on the support portion 33, and a second bezel 53 which holds the lens 54, and is mounted on the first bezel 52. The second bezel 53 has a reflecting surface 55 for receiving and reflecting transmitted light through the lens 54, and this reflecting surface is designed to have a low reflectance. By doing so, the light, reflected by the reflecting surface 55, is not glaring, and therefore a beam, coming into the driver's sight via a room mirror, is not glaring, and therefore will not affect the driving operation.

  • Publication number: 20050168998
Abstract: A bezel member (52) to which a lens (54) which transmits light from a light source (37) is supported on a main body (30) to be fixed to a vehicle body (11). A spherical surface (52a) is formed on one of the main body (30) or a bezel member (52), and sliding members (34) for being pressed against the spherical surface (52a) are formed on the other one of them, so that the bezel member (52) can be rotated with respect to a supporting member (33) of the main body (30) and fixed to a given position. Since a metal plate is used as the sliding members (34) in this interior illumination lamp (10), a problem such that the light source cannot be fixed to the desired direction due to abrasion or change of properties of the felt sliding member as in the related art due to the temperature or deterioration with age can be solved. Also, in comparison with the case in which the spring or the like is employed, increase in cost due to increase in the number of parts can be avoided.

  • Publication number: 20050134533
Abstract: The collector, emitter, and base of a bipolar transistor circuit are connected to a high side power supply terminal, the drain of a level shift transistor, and a floating power supply terminal, respectively. When a high side output transistor is on, the floating power supply terminal is at the potential of a high potential power supply terminal. The high side power supply terminal is at a potential higher than the potential of the floating power supply terminal by a constant voltage. Turning the level shift transistor on, its drain potential drops below the potential of the floating power supply terminal; The base current flows through the bipolar transistor circuit and the drain potential of the level shift transistor is clamped near the potential of the floating power supply terminal; The bipolar transistor circuit is turned on and its collector current supplies the drain current of the level shift transistor.

  • Publication number: 20050052617
Abstract: A virtual image display apparatus comprises a pair of optical projection systems, each having a display device, a light source and a projection lens. The images formed on the display device are projected to an image location optical system, which comprises a light collecting lens and an optical diffusion device. The light rays from the optical projection systems are reflected at a translucent reflecting means, so that the light rays are respectively collected at right and left eyes of an observing person. As a result, the images can be recognized by the person as a virtual image in the distance. Since the optical diffusion device diffuses the light rays, in such a way that the light rays to one of observing eyes may not reach the other observing eye, so that the image information of the respective light rays can be recognized by the observing person, without causing a cross-talk.

Abstract: A video signal converting apparatus and method for improving display quality of video signals from both film source and video source. It is discriminated whether the input video signal is an interlaced video signal or not, and it is discriminated whether the input video signal is a video signal from a film source based on a film. If the input video signal is discriminated as interlaced video signals, the input video signal is converted, for outputting, to the progressive video signals by a converting method in accordance with a discrimination result regarding whether the input video signal is a video signal from the film source or not. The converted progressive video signal is converted, for outputting, to a video signal having a high frame rate in accordance with the discrimination result regarding whether the converted progressive video signal is a video signal from the film source or not.
