  • Publication number: 20040019790
Abstract: An IC card 16 according to the present invention is provided with an electronic value storing means, a request acquiring means, a verifying means, and an output means. The request acquiring means acquires an access request from display application 151 to electronic value 161 stored in the electronic value storing means, along with application authentication information held by the display application 151. The verifying means determines the validity of the application authentication information in accordance with the access request acquired by the request acquiring means. When the verifying means determines that the application authentication information is valid, the output means outputs substantive information of the electronic value 161 to the display application 151.

  • Publication number: 20030236744
Abstract: Each IC card 1 notifies a server 3 of the ID of the IC card and the connection information of a terminal device to which the IC card is connected. The server 3 stores the ID and the connection information in a database 4 while associating the ID and the connection information with each other. When an IC card 1 communicates with another IC card, the IC card 1 requests the connection information concerning the destination IC card from the server 3 while specifying the ID of this IC card. The server 3 searches the database 4 for the connection information corresponding to the ID specified by the request, and notifies the requesting IC card 1 of the acquired connection information. This enables communications between IC cards even if the terminal device to which a destination IC card is connected has been changed in the past.

  • Publication number: 20030228886
Abstract: The object of the present invention is to prevent copying of electronic value data itself. In communication system of the present invention, different from the conventional system, source IC card A and target IC card B mutually authenticate the other party, and thereafter the electronic value data is transferred from IC card A to IC card B through direct encryption communication between these IC cards A, B, whereby it is feasible to prevent decipher and falsification of the data by a third party in the middle of a communication path and prevent copying of the data.

  • Publication number: 20030220097
Abstract: A portable terminal 10 according to the present invention is provided with a request acquiring means, a verifying means, and an output means. The request acquiring means acquires an access right authentication request from a display application 153 to a telephone directory management application 152 managing telephone directory data stored in a telephone directory database 151, along with application authentication information held by the display application 153. The verifying means determines the validity of the application authentication information in accordance with the access right authentication request. When it is determined that the application authentication information is valid, the output means permits the access right authentication request and outputs the telephone directory data to the display application 153 in accordance with an access request to the telephone directory data.

  • Patent number: 6320310
Abstract: In an image display apparatus comprising a fluorescent layer formed on the inner surface of a vacuum container, an electron emission source, and a supporting member sandwiched between the fluorescent layer and the electron emission source so that the fluorescent layer and the electron emission source are kept in parallel, a displacement preventing system is provided to prevent displacement of the electron beams emitted from the electron sources caused by the charging of the supporting member. More specifically, the supporting member may be composed of an insulating portion contacting with the electron emission source and a conducting portion contacting with the fluorescent layer. An electrode portion may be provided between the insulating portion and the conductive portion. Electron sources are arranged on the insulating substrate so that the electron beams emitted from the electron sources will be landed on the fluorescent layer with an equal pitch.

  • Patent number: 6285121
Abstract: A plurality of fixing stands (32) are attached to the inner face of a rear case (10), and a back electrode substrate (33) that functions as a back electrode and an electrode unit (11) formed by superposing a plurality of electrode plates via insulators are attached to the fixing stands (32). In this case, only one fixing stand positioned substantially at the center of the back electrode substrate (33) in the plurality of fixing stands (32) is fixed to the back electrode substrate (33), and presser bar plate springs (36) for pressing the substrate are attached onto the remaining fixing stands to fix the back electrode substrate (33) by their elasticity. Such an attachment structure enables thermal distortion in fabrication processes and during operation and influences of vibration/impacts from the exterior to be absorbed or eliminated, thus providing a flat-type image display apparatus with high accuracy and high image quality.

  • Patent number: 6239544
Abstract: In a flat-type image display apparatus, thermal distortion caused by the exposure to high temperature is absorbed, thus obtaining assembly precision and maintaining it during operation. The apparatus comprises a flat type screen and a back electrode opposing the flat type screen. In the space between the flat type screen and the back electrode, linear cathodes and an electrode unit including an electron beam extracting electrode are arranged. Positioning members formed of heat-resistant insulators having guide portions for supporting the linear electrodes are attached to the electrode unit. The linear cathodes are positioned by the guide portions to keep a predetermined positional relationship with electron-beam extracting holes formed in the electron beam extracting electrode.

  • Patent number: 6109993
Abstract: A substantially rectangle shaped frame for holding a flat-shaped electrode unit 7 is fixed to a rear panel 2 at four intermediate parts of the frame and is elastically held by a resilient retaining member 55a- - - 55d and 56a- - - -56d at four corners of the frame. Thereby, an engagement between the rear panel 2 and the flat-shaped electrode unit 7 via the frame is stably retained regardless of difference in degrees of deformations thereamong.

  • Patent number: 5192892
Abstract: A picture display device using direct heating type linear cathodes as electron beam sources. Inorganic material vibration prevention elements having a hole thereon are provided. The linear cathodes penetrate the vibration prevention elements at one end part or both end parts of respective linear cathodes. This damps vibrations occurring at the time when an external force is applied and cuase them to cease rapidly.

  • Patent number: 4982134
Abstract: This invention relates to a video display device in which the image area of the screen is divided into multiple sectors in the vertical direction and an electron beam is vertically deflected at each of these sectors to display multiple image lines, and particularly to a construction of cathode wires suspended horizontally in order to generate an electron beam at each sector. In this invention, distance between the wire cathodes and back electrode and also between the wire cathodes and the control electrode are held constant by providing insulated members under the wire cathodes.
