  • Publication number: 20040154161
Abstract: A chip transfer apparatus includes a first carrier for feeding chips and a second carrier for carrying works on it. The transfer apparatus also includes a transfer engine including two or more coaxial revolvers, which can revolve coaxially with each other. Each of the coaxial revolvers includes an end-effector for receiving a chip from the first carrier and transferring the received chip onto a work on the second carrier. The end-effectors of the coaxial revolvers are arranged in a circle coaxial with the revolvers. The end-effectors sequentially receive chips from the first carrier at substantially zero speed relative to the first carrier and transfer the received chips onto works on the second carrier at substantially zero speed relative to the second carrier. While the end-effectors are revolving, they undergo periodic speed change control for timing adjustment and speed adjustment for the chip reception and transfer.

  • Patent number: 6774522
Abstract: A rotor structure is to be provided which can diminish stress concentration in teeth-wedge fitting portions located near magnetic poles of a rotor in a rotary electric machine. Teeth 6 have slant faces for abutment against slant faces of wedges 8 to retain the wedges in a fitted state between adjacent teeth, the wedges 8 having slant faces each formed at a predetermined angle relative to the radial direction of a rotor 1, and a circular arc is formed at each slant face rising position in the teeth 6. In this case, the radius of the circular arc formed at each slant face rising position 12 in a preset number of teeth 6 located near magnetic pole portions 7 of the rotor 1 is set larger that of the circular arc formed in the remaining teeth.

  • Patent number: 6674210
Abstract: When molding reinforced fiber layers of a creepage block which is in contact with a field winding in a rotor of a rotary electric machine, a layer containing organic fibers made from polybenzoimidazole, polyparaphenylenebenzobisoxazole, aromatic polyamide, polyarylate, and aromatic polyester is integrally molded on that side of the creepage block which is for contact with a field winding. The rotor thus formed stabilizes a slippage between the field winding and the creepage block caused by thermal expansion of the field winding in the rotor during the operation and thereby minimizes the amount of bending of a rotor shaft.

  • Patent number: 6479788
Abstract: The invention provides a method and an apparatus of making a hole in a printed circuit board, which improve the quality of a hole shape and the processing speed. In accordance with the invention, a control apparatus controls a laser oscillator and a galvano mirrors so as to form a hole while gradually reducing a pulse width in each step with respect to one hole. As a result of this, no insulating material is left on the bottom portion of the hole, and it is possible to make a hole having an intended shape, particularly, having a desired diameter of the hole bottom.

  • Patent number: 6316859
Abstract: Provided is a rotating electric machine in which the cooling capacity is improved by increasing the width and depth of a gas vent groove 12 formed in a creepage block 11 and in which a fracture is prevented near the face of the creepage block 11 abutting against a magnetic winding 4 of the creepage block 11 fabricated from a resin material containing reinforcing fibers. The reinforcing fibers of the creepage block 11 fabricated from a resin material containing reinforcing fibers are continuously disposed to form straight lines and curved lines along the contour of the gas vent groove, whereby the area of interlayer slip face 32 subjected to a shearing force acting on the creepage block due to a temperature change of a rotor 1 is increased and the shearing force per unit a slip area is decreased, thereby to prevent a shearing slip fracture near the face of the creepage block 11 abutting against the magnetic winding 4.

  • Patent number: 4872787
Abstract: In a method of drilling a printed circuit board according to the present invention, an entry feed rate at which a drill is fed into the printed circuit boards during the initial stage of drilling is made slightly smaller than a drilling feed rate at which the drill is fed while it is drilling a hole through the printed circuit boards, so as to enhance the accuracy at which holes are located. One drilling operation includes a plurality of drilling feeds of the drill, and pulled-out positions of the drill which are reached by the drill between adjacent drilling feed rate are set within a range in which the pressure of a pressure foot is effective. This can prevent the stacked printed circuit boards from shifting and increase the accuracy at which the holes are located.

  • Patent number: 4852074
Abstract: A method of measuring the level of crosstalk noise in a playback signal produced from a recording disk such as a video disk, first and second signals of mutually different frequencies are recorded in respective sections of a track in a periodically alternating sequence. These first and second signals are also recorded in corresponding sections of at least one closely adjacent track in a periodically alternating sequence which is displaced with respect to the first-mentioned sequence. Playback of the first track is then repetitively performed, with switching selection of portions of the playback signal from the first sections and second sections respectively, and a derivation of levels of a beat component produced during these selected playback signal portions is obtained. The levels of the beat component are measured, and represent crosstalk noise levels.
