  • Patent number: 6647104
Abstract: A telephone system requiring no upload of station data which is reset or set after a seat change even if the station data is not uploaded to a data management equipment whenever the operation change the station data of an extension communication terminal. Each of the extension communication terminals judges, on receiving a seat-change instruction, whether or not its station data is changed. If the station data is judged to be changed, the station data is uploaded to the data management equipment through a switching system.

  • Publication number: 20030171055
Abstract: The flame retardant sheet material of the present invention simultaneously affords good flame retardancy and melting resistance in a sheet material in which a nonwoven is used, and also simultaneously provides good abrasion resistance and an excellent design, making it suitable for use in automotive trim surface materials. A flame retardant sheet material is obtained by first needle-punching and then stitch-bonding a web containing 70 to 95 wt % base fiber and 5 to 30 wt % flame retardant fiber selected from among flame retardant rayon fiber and modacrylic fiber. It is preferable for propoxyphosphazene or another such phosphoric ester-based flame retardant to be kneaded into the flame retardant fiber. It is also preferable to add a binder fiber to the web in order to improve abrasion resistance.

  • Patent number: 6522429
Abstract: A facsimile communication system includes a calling and a called facsimile machine connected via a communication network. Each of the facsimile machines has a timer value representing a maximum allowable response time for a response signal relative to a signal transmitted to the counterpart facsimile machine. Using the timer value, each of the facsimile machines monitors whether the response signal is received from the counterpart facsimile machine within the timer value. If the response signal is not received within the timer value, retransmission of the transmitted signal is required. The called facsimile machine transmits all timer value change information for increasing the timer value to the calling facsimile machine. The calling facsimile machine selects the optimum timer value change information within the range of the timer value change information received from the called facsimile machine, and transmits the selected timer value change information to the called facsimile machine.
