  • Patent number: 6415102
Abstract: In a digital camera in which image data produced through a photographing operation is compressed to be written in a memory card, even if a shutter release button is depressed during the recording of the image data in the memory card, the photographing can be immediately achieved. While image data stored in a buffer memory is being compressed to be stored in the memory card, the depression of shutter release button is continuously monitored. If the release button is pressed, the recording operation in the memory card is interrupted to conduct the photographing. After the photographing is finished, the image data for which the recording is interrupted is compressed to be entirely written in the memory card beginning at the start point thereof.

  • Patent number: 6390145
Abstract: A clean box has a container including a container body opened at one surface and a lid for closing the opening of the container body. An annular groove is formed in at least one of the container body and the lid so as to surround the opening. An elastic seal member is disposed within the annular groove along its whole length. A cross-section in a width direction of the elastic seal member has relatively thick end portions and a relatively thin intermediate portion in its dimension in a depth direction of the annular groove. Thus, when the lid closes the opening of the container body, an annular suction space is defined along the intermediate portion of the seal member. Also, the suction space is sealed by elastic deformation of the both end portions of the seal member between the container body and the lid. Further, the clean box has an intake/exhaust port mechanism for evacuation/release of the suction space from the outside.

  • Publication number: 20020054337
Abstract: When an image to be printed is specified in a print system for printing images, a telephone number or e-mail address is entered as a contact destination to be contacted when printing ends. At the conclusion of printing, the entered contact destination is so notified. Upon being so notified of end of printing, the user returns to the location at which the print system has been installed. Since the user will thus know when printing ends, the user can make effective utilization of time until printing ends.

  • Patent number: 6207226
Abstract: The invention discloses a metallic coating method which is characterized by applying a dispersion formed by dispersing aluminum flakes which have been surface-treated with a C8-C18 alky ester of phosphoric acid in an organic solvent, onto an uncured coated surface of a paint-coated object, then applying onto the dispersion-applied surface a clear paint, and thereafter simultaneously curing these coating films under heating. According to this method, the aluminum flakes are oriented in parallel with the coated surface, enabling to form a metallic coating film which is white and excels in metallic luster (glittering effect) and furthermore exhibits strong flip-flop properties.
