Publication number: 20020190334Abstract: In a thin-film transistor to be used in an active matrix liquid crystal display device, each of a gate signal line, a source signal line, and a drain extraction electrode has a three-layer structure. Specifically, each of these members is made up of a lower layer made of a titanium film, an intermediate layer made of an aluminum film, and an upper layer made of a titanium film containing nitrogen. Since the respective upper layers, in contact with a gate insulating film or an interlayer insulating film made of a silicon nitride film, are made of titanium films containing nitrogen, they have superior adhesion to the silicon nitride film. Consequently, film peeling, etc. during the manufacturing process can be suppressed. Further, providing the titanium film beneath the aluminum film contributes to reduction of the resistance of the aluminum film.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 17, 2002Publication date: December 19, 2002Inventors: Yoshinori Shimada, Masao Kawaguchi, Hiroshi Ishibashi, Yukinobu Nakata, Keiichi Akamatsu

Publication number: 20020018826Abstract: A die clamping apparatus including a movable plate which is in connection with a pushing-out pin which is projected from and retracted to a moving die and which is held movably with respect to a moving die plate, a clamp member for obtaining a constraint of the movable member, an air cylinder and a hook member. Only a movement of the movable member is constraint by the air cylinder with respect to the moving die plate when the latter is moved in a die opening direction from a die opening limit position, so that a resultant relative movement between the movable plate and the moving die plate, which causes the pushing-out pin to be projected from the moving die, resulting in a removal of a molded product, while the constraint of the movable member prevents the moving die plate from being moved in the die closing direction when the moving die plate in the die opening limit position is under non clamping condition.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 27, 2001Publication date: February 14, 2002Inventors: Yuji Abe, Hiroshi Ishibashi, Makoto Tsuji, Hiroshi Yokoyama

Patent number: 6141164Abstract: A recording apparatus provided on, for example, a digital audio tape recorder or on a data storage device for correctly and reliably recording data. An ECC unit 23 appends the parity for error correction to recording data and transmits the resulting data to recording heads Hw1, Hw2, while recording the parity in a RAM 61. The recording data and the parity are reproduced from a magnetic tape 32 by magnetic heads Hr1, Hr2 and supplied to a subcode separation unit 45. A syndrome detection unit 62 detects the number of error corrections performed by parity by an error correction unit 46. A system controller 63 compares the number of times of error corrections to a threshold value and compares the parity read out from the RAM 61 to the parity from the sub-code separation unit 45 in order to detect if the recording data has been recorded correctly. If the recording data has not been recorded correctly, the system controller controls a recording/reproducing unit 30 for re-recording the same recording data.Type: GrantFiled: June 27, 1996Date of Patent: October 31, 2000Assignee: Sony CorporationInventors: Hiroshi Ishibashi, Toshiyuki Hirose, Shinya Ozaki
