  • Patent number: 6755571
Abstract: A rotational structure and a bearing structure is provided wherein discomfort of people therearound is eliminated by suppressing noise due to movement (rattle) of a member in a rotational supporting point within small clearance. In a bearing structure for a seat-weight measuring apparatus, etc., sleeve members are inserted into insertion holes of an arm member and a bracket or bearing member while a pivot pin and a stopper pin or shaft member are inserted into insertion holes of sleeve members. The sleeve members are formed so that any of part of the insertion holes of the sleeve members always comes into contact with the pivot pin or the stopper pin so as not to allow the pivot pin or the stopper pin to run freely within the insertion holes of the sleeve members when the pivot pin or the stopper pin moves.

The seat weight measuring apparatus includes a base frame with a mounting portion at the rear end side of the base frame. The mounting portion includes two stopper bolts as protective mechanisms for transmitting excessive load from a rear rail bracket to the base frame. One stopper bolt is a front (first) stopper bolt, and the other is a rear (second) stopper bolt. Therefore, the mounting portion has higher capability to withstand load than a mounting portion at the front end side of the base frame.

  • Patent number: 6578786
Abstract: In a seat belt retractor, as the rotation of a pawl holder of a locking member in the webbing unwinding direction is stopped by a locking mechanism in emergency, a reel receives a force on a protrusion by impact load applied to the webbing with the inertia of an occupant. As the force is increased, the protrusion is plastically deformed. By this plastic deformation, the impact on the occupant can be greatly absorbed at first. After the protrusion is sheared, the reel tends to rotate in the webbing unwinding direction by the inertia of the occupant, so that the torsion bar is further twisted. Thus, the load can be variously set to effectively absorb kinetic energy of the occupant.

  • Publication number: 20030068531
Abstract: This invention provides film deposition method and film deposition system for depositing a halogen compound film, which are capable of depositing such a film while suppressing abuse that occurs due to deficiency of a halogen element even if the halogen element is dissociated from a film material. Specifically, the halogen compound film is deposited through a process including: evaporating a film material comprising a halogen compound by means of an evaporation source 3; ionizing the evaporated film material with a radio frequency power outputted from a radio frequency power supply unit 11 and supplied through a substrate holder 2; and causing the ionized film material to deposit on the substrate 5. In this process a bias voltage outputted from a bias power supply unit 12 and applied to the substrate holder 2 causes halogen ions dissociated from ions of the halogen compound to be incorporated into the film being deposited on the substrate 5.
