Abstract: A belt driving system having at least one roller for adjusting creep within a plurality of rollers. Creep detecting means provided at one end of the creep adjusting roller is rotated by torque of a flat belt in contact with the creep detecting means. Biasing means for biasing the flat belt toward the creep detecting means and roller-end displacing means for converting the torque of the creep detecting means to displacement of the end of the creep adjusting roller toward a predetermined direction so that the flat belt is moved to the direction contrary to the creep caused by the biasing means are provided. When the flat belt creeps, the creep contrary to the original creep is caused by the roller-end displacing means, and thus the original creep is compensated. Consequently, stable running of the flat belt is obtained and clear pictures of the electrophotographic machine can be also obtained.

Abstract: An air compressor comprises a cylinder, a suction valve body operatively combined with the cylinder, wherein the suction valve body is in a form of a band plate having a shape of V-letter with a round bottom, both ends of the suction valve body being arranged outside a projection space of the cylinder and a portion of the suction valve body other than the both ends being arranged inside the projection space of the cylinder, and wherein the air compressor comprises a suction valve plate receptor which can overlap the suction valve body when the suction valve body is in suction stroke and which has a rigidity enough to restrict an amount of lift of the suction valve body.

Abstract: A scroll type fluid apparatus includes a casing having a flange member defining an annular recess therein, a drive shaft journalled on the casing and having a crank shaft formed at an inner end of the drive shaft extending in the casing, an orbiting scroll member rotatably mounted on the crank shaft and having a mirror-finished plate and a scroll wrap extending upright on the plate, a stationary scroll member mounted on the casing and including a mirror-finished plate having scroll wrap extending upright thereon and engaged with the scroll wrap of the orbiting scroll member, a suction port communicating with the interior of the annular recess of the annular flange member, a discharge port, and a sealing member disposed in the annular recess of the annular flange member for sealing a compression chamber within the annular recess from the interior of a body of the casing.

Abstract: An optical semiconductor device is provided with a p-type ZnSe semiconductor layer. Si, Cl and O atoms are added, as dopants, to the ZnSe semiconductor layer. Associations of the Si, Cl and O atoms are formed to define a shallow acceptor level in the semiconductor layer. Each of the associations comprises one Si atom, one Cl atom and one O atom by which the lattice points of Se are displaced between those crystal lattice points in the semiconductor layer which are adjacent to one another.
