  • Patent number: 8643230
Abstract: A linear actuator includes a linear actuator body (2), a casing (3) for housing the linear actuator body (2), and insulating oil (L) that fills the casing (3) with a coil (44) of the linear actuator body (2) submerged therein. In such a configuration, heat generated by the coil (44) is quickly released to the oil (L) and is then conducted to the casing (3). The oil (L) fully spreads into gaps in the coil (44), of course. Therefore, heat is released very efficiently. Thus, by improving the heat-releasing characteristic, a linear actuator having a reduced size and a reduced weight is provided.

  • Patent number: 8400855
Abstract: A semiconductor device includes a data transmission line and a data transmission line precharge circuit. The data transmission line precharge circuit sets a precharge potential of the data transmission line to a first potential at the time of a first write mode in which data masking is not performed.
