  • Publication number: 20080104345
Abstract: The present invention aims at preventing loss of the most recent data even if backup processing ends abnormally. A computer system includes: a first storage system having a data storage extent for storing data sent from a host computer; a second storage system having at least one actual replicated data storage extent associated with the data storage extent; an archive appliance having a storage medium associated with the replicated data storage extent in the second storage system; a data copy unit for controlling copy processing for reading data from the data storage extent in the first storage system and writing the read data to a first actual replicated data storage extent in the second storage system in accordance with specific configuration information; and a connection switching unit for changing the specific configuration information so that a second actual replicated data storage extent, instead of the first actual replicated data storage extent, is associated with the data storage extent.

  • Publication number: 20080065815
Abstract: There is provided a logical volume management method for storage system. When a logical volume is created on a flash memory drive, a management computer allocates logical volume while flash memory chip border of flash memory drive is taken into account. Specifically, a table for managing a correlation between each parity group and the flash memory chip of the flash memory drive is obtained and the logical volume is allocated in such a manner that a flash memory chip is not shared by a plurality of logical volumes. When complete erasing of logical volume data is performed, the management computer specifies a flash memory chip on which complete data erasing is to be performed, and the storage system completely erases data exclusively on the chip of interest with a use of a function of completely erasing data at a time by chip unit of the flash memory chip (chip erasing).

  • Patent number: 7246430
Abstract: In an electronic component mounting apparatus, a vertical load and horizontal loads applied to an electronic component are detected by a load sensor that has piezoelectric elements provided in a stack in a mounting direction of the electronic component. Therefore, a size in a horizontal direction of the load sensor can be reduced, and a load applied to the electronic component can be detected at a neighborhood of a mounting position of the electronic component. Moreover, by comparing a position, in a two-dimensional space in which load values in an X-direction and Y-direction of the horizontal load serve as coordinate values, with a tolerance range in the two-dimensional space, a mounting failure can be detected from a deviation in the horizontal loads.

  • Patent number: 7076867
Abstract: A pressurizing method for pressurizing a second component arranged on a first component, against the first component by using a pressurizing apparatus having a stage on which the first component is mounted, a tool, and a protection sheet supplying section. The tool is disposed so as to face the stage and moved between a first position at which the tool faces the first and second components while spaced therefrom, and a second position at which the tool is biased toward the stage to pressurize the second component against the first component. When the tool is at the second position, the protection sheet supplying section supplies a protection sheet so that the protection sheet is placed between the second component and the tool.

  • Publication number: 20050268457
Abstract: The electronic component mounting apparatus has a board holding part for holding a circuit board, a mounting mechanism for mounting an electronic component on the circuit board, and a grinding part for grinding a suction surface of a suction nozzle of the mounting mechanism. After mounting of the electronic components on the circuit board are repeated a predetermined number of times, the suction surface is ground. In the electronic component mounting apparatus, by continuously moving the suction nozzle in the Y-direction relative to the grinding part and moving the suction nozzle up and down, and bringing the suction surface of the suction nozzle in intermittent contact with the grinding surface of the grinding member with ultrasonic vibrations applied, the suction surface can be ground while preventing the occurrence of a large deformation of the suction nozzle.

  • Publication number: 20030145459

The pressurizing apparatus has a stage on which the first component is mounted, a tool, and a protection sheet supplying section. The tool is disposed so as to face the stage and moved between a first position at which the tool faces the first and second components with space and a second position at which the tool is biased toward the stage to pressurize the second component against the first component. When the tool is at the second position, the protection sheet supplying section supplies a protection sheet so that the protection sheet is placed between the second component and the tool.

  • Patent number: 6561408
Abstract: There is provided an inclination prevention member for preventing a pressing part from inclining to a supporting part. Therefore a pressing face and a stage face can be arranged to be nearly parallel. The pressing face can be thus disposed with the higher parallelism to the bonding stage as compared with the conventional art, so that components and a circuit form object can be bonded with a high bonding quality.

  • Patent number: 4455951
Abstract: An embroidery lace machine is driven by electric signals. A plurality of selection plates control a jacquard and can move horizontally in response to control elements. A reset bar returns the selection plates to their original positions. In one embodiment, the control elements consist of plates aligned with the selection plates and biased into contact with the selection plates. Electrically actuated solenoids selectively prevent movement of selected ones of the control elements. In a second embodiment, the control elements are wires selectively engageable with a sliding plate. Electrically actuated solenoids are provided for selectively connecting the control elements with the sliding plate.
