  • Publication number: 20030163665
Abstract: An an address generator generates a read address. It is detected whether the generated read address is continuous to the read address previously generated. A cache unit control circuit controls the read data to be directly output to a requester of the read data without passing the read data through a cache RAM, if a cache miss occurs, and if it has been detected that the two addresses are continuous.

  • Publication number: 20030126402
Abstract: In an information processing device, a first address adder generates a first address representing a target for write of data or a storage location of data to be read. A second address adder generates a second address by adding 8 to the first address. First to seventh selectors appropriately select either the first address or the second address, and supply the selected address to first to seventh memory areas, respectively. An eighth memory area is supplied with the first address.

  • Patent number: 6478855
Abstract: A heat exchanger, perhaps a cross flow heat exchanger, has first and second passages. During dehumidification (adsorption of moisture) in the first passages, water is evaporated from the second passages. This water can be introduced to the second passages during reactivation (desorption of moisture) in the first passages or at another time. If the water is introduced to the second passages during reactivation, the first and second passages have therein first and second moisture adsorbents. During a first time period, air to be dehumidified is passed through the first passages of the heat exchanger and cooling air is passed through the second passages of the heat exchanger to remove heat generated in the first passages and to desorb moisture adsorbed by the second moisture adsorbent. During a second time period, a heating fluid is passed through the second passages of the heat exchanger to heat the first passages and supply moisture for adsorption to the second moisture adsorbent.

  • Publication number: 20020042021
Abstract: An interleaving paper for laser exposable radiation sensitive planographic printing plate precursors having a radiation sensitive layer is disclosed. The interleaving paper has a stiffness of 100 g or higher and a stiffness per unit thickness of 2.0 g/&mgr;m or higher. The interleaving paper can be easily removed by an automatic interleaving paper releasing machine. The printing plate precursor can be made efficiently, even when the interleaving paper is placed directly on the radiation sensitive layer of a laser exposable radiation sensitive planographic printing plate precursor that does not have a mat layer formed thereon. The interleaving paper can also be manufactured at a lower cost. Use of the interleaving paper makes it possible to reduce the distribution cost of the printing plate precursors.

  • Patent number: 6320868
Abstract: A transmitting station transmits FM radio waves which carry program information, such as news, and time information representing the current time. Each of receivers generates the first time information in accordance with an internal clock, corrects the first time information in accordance with the time information transmitted from the transmitting station, and generates the second time information. Each receiver progresses a game by changing the image displayed on the display, in accordance with a predetermined element, which is obtained from the program information transmitted from the transmitting station, and the first or second time information. Therefore, the progress of the game differs depending on the reception of the second information and the time information, and accordingly the progress of the game is unexpectable.

  • Patent number: 6182641
Abstract: A forward flow region in which forward intake air currents are produced and a reverse flow region in which reverse intake air currents are produced are formed in the throttle bore of a throttle body 3 included in an internal-combustion engine, and the boundary between those regions extends below a throttle valve 5. A fuel vapor control system for an internal-combustion engine has a purge tube 13 joined to the throttle body 3 to supply fuel vapor into the throttle body 3 and is provided with an opening 22 which acts as a purge port. The opening 22 is positioned at a distance from the inner surface 21 of the throttle body 3 defining a throttle bore on the boundary between the forward intake air currents and the reverse intake air currents. Fuel vapor jetted through the opening 22 of the purge tube 13 into the throttle bore flows toward an intake manifold 2, diffusing into both the forward intake air currents and the reverse intake air currents from the boundary between the intake air currents.

  • Patent number: 6052388
Abstract: An FM radio receiver receives and displays program data which is affixed with a return destination box number and return form type data and has been transmitted from an FM broadcasting station 1 in the multiplexed form on FM broadcast radio waves. In responding to a displayed program through the FM radio receiver, first, the FM radio receiver 2 reads a return form corresponding to the return form type data from a ROM card 24 and displays the form. A user inputs return message data according to the displayed return form. FM radio receiver 2 transmits the return destination box number data in addition to the return message data to a service center 5. The service center 5 stores the received return message data in a box corresponding to the return destination box number data affixed to the received return message data. The return message data is edited and collected box by box. The edited and/or collected results are sent to the FM broadcasting station 1 as needed.
