  • Patent number: 11081961
Abstract: According to one embodiment, a power convertor includes a buck-boost circuit to be applied with an input voltage to convert the input voltage into an output voltage for output, the input voltage being generated by a power generation module that generates direct-current power; a switching controller that executes maximum power-point tracking to control power conversion of the buck-boost circuit such that the power generation module generates maximum direct-current power; and a mode controller that causes the switching controller to execute the maximum power-point tracking when an input current from the power generation module is larger than a preset current threshold, and when the input current is equal to or less than the current threshold, causes the switching controller to stop the maximum power-point tracking, and cause the buck-boost circuit to output the input voltage as the output voltage without the power conversion.

  • Patent number: 11031786
Abstract: According to one embodiment, a power convertor includes a buck-boost circuit; a switch driver, a switching controller, and a positive input terminal and a negative input terminal. In maximum power-point tracking, the switching controller causes the buck-boost circuit to stop outputting the output voltage, and varies the voltage value of the input voltage in a given range, which is from a lower-limit voltage value at which the switch driver is operable, by switching between the positive input terminal and the negative input terminal while varying a duty factor.

  • Patent number: 7638298
Abstract: A novel plant transposon that induces bud mutation, transposase thereof, and a method for efficiently inducing bud mutation by improvement in the transposition efficiency are provided. A novel transposon having terminal inverted repeat sequences (SEQ ID NO: 1 and SEQ ID NO: 2) shown below has been isolated for the first time from carnation (Dianthus caryophyllus) and the nucleotide sequence thereof has been determined. The transposon has contained a gene encoding the transposase in its sequence. The transposon induces bud mutation when it is inserted into a gene. The transposition frequency is elevated due to environmental stress. TAGAGCTGGCAAA---TTTGCCAGCTCTA (SEQ ID NOS 1 & 2, respectively in order of appearance).

  • Patent number: 7557833
Abstract: A signal-recording-and-reproducing portion records an image signal DVb of a variable frame-rate picked-up image generated by an image signal generation portion. When instructed to reproduce the image signal, the recorded signal is reproduced and supplied to a frame rate conversion portion as an image signal DVr. The frame rate conversion portion converts the image signals DVb and DVr to a display frame rate and supplies them to a monitor image signal generation portion as image signals DVb? and DVr?. The monitor image signal generation portion then generates a monitor image displaying images based on the image signals DVb? and DVr? on a screen. An adjustment of the frame rate referring to reproduced image displayed together with an image that is being shot allows an image signal to be easily generated so that a motion of a subject can be matched to a desired speed at the reproduction thereof.

  • Patent number: 6567988
Abstract: In transmitting the analog video signal via a coaxial cable, a transmission apparatus side is not provided with an emphasis characteristic which is the inverse to the frequency attenuation characteristic of the coaxial cable. In stead, an emphasis is applied by a preemphasis circuit on the transmission side, on the basis of an emphasis curve of a frequency band characteristic curve having an inverse characteristic to a frequency band characteristic curve of a detected signal which is obtained when transmitting a modulated signal without a preemphasis to the coaxial cable and conducting synchronous detection on a receiving apparatus side by using an oscillation frequency having the same frequency as that of a carrier used at the time of modulation.
