  • Patent number: 9040859
Abstract: A detection apparatus for detecting foreign substances or defective goods, with which it is easy to accomplish inspection even if the inspection objects have a shape that tends to allow rolling, comprises: transparent members 11 and 12, partitions 21 and 22, a supplying unit 30, cameras 41 and 42, a control unit 50. A removing apparatus 1, which includes such detection apparatus, comprises a suction controller 60 and suction nozzles 61 to 68. While the partitions 21, 22 move around, inspection objects A are each put in each cell of the partitions 21, 22, and are photographed by the cameras 41 and 42, from above and below the transparent members 11, 12, respectively. The images obtained by such photographing are analyzed, and foreign substances or defective goods mingling in the inspection objects A are detected. • Patent number: 9002439
Abstract: The present invention relates to a blood vessel wall analyzing apparatus provided with a structure enabling accurate measurement of plaque components in a blood vessel wall in a state that reduces the burden on a patient. In the blood vessel wall analyzing apparatus (1), measurement light is illuminated onto a measured portion within a blood vessel such as a carotid artery (C) from a light illuminating unit (30) provided outside the blood vessel, while light from the measured portion is detected in a light receiving unit (40) provided outside the blood vessel. Thus, since the status of the blood vessel wall can be analyzed without inserting an apparatus involved in measurement into the blood vessel, the burden on the patient is reduced during measurement.

  • Publication number: 20140071434
Abstract: The optical tomographic image acquisition apparatus is based on FD-OCT. A detection unit 50A which detects interference light includes a lens 51, a reflection type diffraction grating 52A, a deflection unit 53, a lens 54), and a light receiving unit 55. The interference light collimated by the lens 51 is divided by the reflection type diffraction grating 52A. Light of each wavelength is output in a different direction according to the wavelength, deflected by the deflection unit 53, and focused on a light receiving surface of the light receiving unit 55 by the lens 54. The optical tomographic image of the object is acquired based on a correspondence relationship between a light radiation position for the object and a deflection angle by the deflection unit 53 and on optical power distribution detected by the light receiving unit 55.

  • Patent number: 7829335
Abstract: The invention offers a technique that selectively differentiation-induces mesenchymal stem cells, which can differentiate to cells that constitute various tissues and organs, to osteoblasts. In addition, the invention offers a technique that differentiation-induces mesenchymal stem cells to osteoblasts with a simple operation that needs only short time and that is noninvasive. The inventors have found that the switch for the differentiation induction to osteoblasts is turned on by translocating biological clock-relevant factors existing in mesenchymal stem cells from the cells' cytoplasm to the cells' nucleus. The inventors have also found that the switch can be turned on by irradiating the cells for a short time with a lightwave having a specific wavelength that is noninvasive.

  • Patent number: 7587266
Abstract: A vehicle speed calculating section calculates the vehicle velocity by integration of a forward and reverse acceleration of a vehicle. A first deforming speed calculating section calculates a first deforming speed by integration of acceleration from a first acceleration sensor. A second deforming speed calculating section calculates a second deforming speed by integration of acceleration from a second acceleration sensor. A first deforming speed correcting section subtracts a vehicle speed from the first deforming speed and outputs it to a determining section. A second deforming speed correcting section subtracts the vehicle speed from the second deforming speed and outputs it to the determining section. In the determining section, the collision object determination is made on the basis of the corrected deforming speed.
