  • Patent number: 6508485
Abstract: A horn switch includes a stationary member, a movable member, a spring and a connecting bolt. The stationary member has a stationary contact and is supported on a steering wheel body The movable member has a movable contact and is arranged above the stationary member. The connecting bolt allows downward movements of the movable member and prescribes a distance of the movable contact from the stationary contact. The connecting bolt is provided with a head and a shank. The head abuts against an underside of the stationary member. The shank extends upward from the head to be fastened to a threaded hole in the movable member. Prior to fastening, the connecting bolt is temporarily fixed to the stationary member by latch legs. • Patent number: 6433211
Abstract: A process for producing a cyanobenzoic acid compound, a cyanobenzamide compound, an alkyl cyanobenzoate compound, and a cyanobenzoyl chloride compound, which are useful intermediates for a variety of chemicals such as pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals, liquid crystals, and monomers for functional polymers. One nitrile group of an easily available phthalonitrile compound is selectively hydrolyzed to thereby produce a cyanobenzamide compound with high selectivity and yield. The cyanobenzamide compound thus-produced is transformed under acidic conditions into a cyanobenzoic acid compound and a cyanobenzoate ester compound without the cyano group of the benzene ring being damaged.

  • Publication number: 20020108092
Abstract: This invention is about a method of digital circuit design using programming language. It can solve problems raised by describing hardware using programming language, e.g. difficulties in describing changes within the same time step, and limitations in designing by sequential process. Separate variables are used to indicate registers and input of the registers. After the process of module section, the secondary variables are assigned to primary variables in a non-blocking assignment section. Combination circuits, which are used by more than one modules in module section, are defined in a assignment section and before module execution. Several clocks and gated clocks are described in non-blocking assignment section and loop section.

  • Publication number: 20020089154
Abstract: An airbag comprises an airbag body, and a wrapping member made tearable for preventing the airbag body from returning to its unfolded state. The airbag body is folded and housed on the peripheral edge of an opening on the inner side of a car body, and is folded up into a rod shape so that it may be inflated when an inflating gas flows thereinto so as to cover the opening. The wrapping member is made flexible and long and is wrapped on the outer periphery of the folded airbag body substantially all along the length of the same, so that it may extend obliquely to the axial direction of the airbag body folded up into the rod-like shape. Moreover, the airbag is restrained in its proper folded state substantially all along its length by a simple wrapping operation.

  • Publication number: 20020079203
Abstract: It is a steering wheel horn switch that has two contact members and a support member, which supports the contact member and is formed from a light metallic material, and that the contact member and the support member are electrically conducted to each other in such a manner as to be able to form a horn operating circuit. An electric conductor having electrical conductivity, which is higher than that of the support member, is disposed between the contact member and the support member in such a way as to come in contact with both the contact member and the support member. The electric conductor is in contact with the support member so that the contact area therebetween is larger than the contact area between the contact member and the support member in the case when the contact member is singly brought into contact with the support member, or so that the electric conductor is brought into contact with the support member by being pushed by the support member.
