  • Publication number: 20150076645
Abstract: Phosphate-based glass doped with copper ions having infrared blocking filter characteristics is formed into particles and is mixed with a transparent encapsulating resin to encapsulate a semiconductor element. The glass particles have a particle diameter four times or more as large as a wavelength of infrared radiation to be blocked. An optical semiconductor device can be obtained having a stable filter characteristics thereof even if an incident light angle changes and is resistant to moisture.

  • Publication number: 20150062808
Abstract: An information processing device includes a first case, a second case over which the first case is placeable, and a connector including a first rotation part and a second rotation part and configured to couple the first case on the second case, the first rotation part allowing the first case to be rotated about a first axis, the second rotation part allowing the first case to be rotated about a second axis, the second axis being displaced from a central position of the first case in an axial direction of the first axis, wherein when front and back surfaces of the first case are reversed and the first case is placed over the second case, at least part of the first case projects from the second case toward an outer side.

  • Patent number: 8946664
Abstract: A low-cost, compact, high-reliability optical sensor device has an optical sensor element mounted in a package comprised of a light shielding glass lid substrate, a part of which has a light filter function, adhered to a light shielding glass substrate having a cavity. In a through hole in the light shielding glass lid substrate, glass having a function of absorbing infrared light and transmitting visible light by its own property is embedded. The light shielding glass substrate is made of glass having light shielding property as its own property.

  • Patent number: 8937729
Abstract: An image reading apparatus includes a document table, an image reading portion, a cover member, a reading control portion, and a document determination portion. On a color reference surface of the cover member which opposes to a document table, a partial region is provided which has a predetermined density different from a density of the color reference surface. The reading control portion reads image data from the color reference surface and the partial region of the cover member by the image reading portion. When a density difference between a density of the color reference surface and a density of the partial region on the image data read by the reading control portion is equal to or smaller than a predetermined threshold value, the document determination portion determines that the document placed on the document placement surface is a book document.

  • Patent number: 8933386
Abstract: Provided is a high-reliability, compact, and low-cost optical sensor device. The optical sensor device includes a glass lid substrate (2), a glass substrate (9) with a cavity having divided and exposed through-hole electrodes (5) on the periphery thereof, and an optical sensor element (3) mounted on the glass lid substrate, and has a structure in which the glass lid substrate and the glass substrate with a cavity are bonded together. By hermetically sealing with the glass substrates, high reliability is secured. By using the divided through-hole electrodes, the package size is reduced and the number of devices which can be produced in a batch in the manufacture increases, which enables cost reduction.

  • Publication number: 20150008568
Abstract: Provided is a semiconductor device including a package having a hollow portion, which can meet the need of reduction in size and thickness. The semiconductor device includes: a resin molded member (1) including a hollow portion (10) having an inner bottom surface on which a semiconductor chip (6) is mounted, a surrounding portion (1b) that surrounds the hollow portion (10), and a bottom surface portion (1a); an inner lead (2e, 2f); and an outer lead (2a, 2b) exposed from the resin molded member (1). The inner lead buried in the molded member (1) includes an L-shaped lead extending portion having a through hole formed therethrough.

  • Patent number: 8928946
Abstract: A cover member is openable and closable with respect to a document table, and has a color reference surface facing the document table, and a partial region provided on a color reference surface and having a predetermined density different from a density of the color reference surface. When a document determination portion determines that a document is a book document, a density correction portion corrects a density in a specific density correction range at a central portion in document image data read from a document by a image reading portion, based on a second density difference which is a density difference between a density of the color reference surface read by a reading control portion when a book document is placed on a document placement surface, and a density of the color reference surface read by the image reading portion when the cover member is closed.
