    Abstract: An automatic document conveying device for an image-processing machine including a housing having on its upper surface a transparent plate on which to place a document to be processed. The device includes an opening-closing frame member mounted on the housing so that it is free to pivot about a pivot axis extending along the rear edge of the transparent plate between a closed position at which it covers the transparent plate and an open position at which it exposes the transparent plate to view; a stationary frame member to be mounted on the housing adjacent to the upstream end of the transparent plate; a document table disposed on the stationary frame member; a document sending unit for sending a plurality of sheet-like documents placed on the document table to a document carrying-in passage one by one; and a document carrying-in unit for introducing the sheet-like documents sent to the document carrying-in passage toward the transparent plate.

    Abstract: A video imaging apparatus changes an area of an imaging element (CCD or MOS type) from which a signal is read out as a TV signal. A normal transfer speed is used to read out the signal from the area as the TV signal and a high transfer speed is used to read out a signal from other area so that smooth movement of an image can be attained.Further, when movement of a video camera occurs, the movement can be judged by observation through a view finder, that is, which partial area of the whole area of the imaging element is produced as the TV signal can be recognized.

    Abstract: An air feeding system for a vehicle engine equipped with a supercharger comprises an inlet passage provided in an engine room with its first section interconnecting an air cleaner and a throttle valve, its second section interconnecting the throttle valve and the supercharger, and its third section interconnecting the supercharger and an engine body of the vehicle engine for feeding a cylinder in the engine body with intake air introduced through the air cleaner into the first section. The air cleaner is disposed at a front portion of one side half of the engine room and the supercharge is disposed in the other side half of the engine room. A part of the inlet passage including the first and second series is arranged to extend backward from the air cleaner and then to extend further along a dash panel forming a rear end of the engine room from one side half to the other side half of the engine room so as to reach temperature.

    Abstract: An automatic document conveying device for use with an image processing machine having a transparent plate on which to place documents. The device includes an opening-closing frame and a document table. A conveyor roller is rotatably mounted in the opening-closing frame. A document delivery device is provided for delivering sheet-like documents from the document table. The document delivered from the document table is introduced into a required position on the transparent plate by the conveyor roller. The rotation of the conveyor roller in the introducing direction is stopped while the introduced document is still between the conveyor roller and the transparent plate. A guiding device which permits advance of the document from the document table to the transparent plate but hampers movement of the document from the transparent plate toward the document table and defects it upwardly, is provided between the document table and the conveyor roller.

    Abstract: A drive ring drivable by a stepping motor is normally urged by a spring to turn in one direction around a lens aperture. When not in use, the stepping motor is not subjected to the resilient force from the spring since the drive ring is locked against rotation by a ratchet wheel engaged by an engagement lever. The stepping motor is therefore not subjected to undue stresses and is prevented from malfunctioning. Consequently, focusing failures and exposure adjustment failures which could otherwise arise from malfunctioning of the stepping motor are prevented from occurring. In operation, a solenoid is energized to move the engagement lever out of engagement with the ratchet wheel, which is then freed to allow the drive ring to be turned by the stepping motor.

    Abstract: A cruise control system for an automotive vehicle with a manual or automatic transmission, includes an inhibition circuit. The inhibiting circuit blocks communication between a power supply and an actuator and/or a controller when the manual transmission is set in a predetermined gear or when the automatic transmission is set in a driving range other than the drive range, so as to inhibit the controller from operating in the cruise control mode. When the vehicle is provided with an automatic transmission which is selectively set in first, second, third or fourth gear while the shift lever is set in the drive range position, the cruise control system includes a first inhibiting circuit which blocks the communication when the shift lever is set in a position other than the drive range position, and a second inhibiting circuit which blocks the communication when the automatic transmission is set in either the first or second range while the shift lever is set in the drive range position.

The capacitance element is connected at one terminal to a signal terminal, to which a second signal being an inverted signal of a signal applied to the second signal terminal is applied, and at the other terminal to the output terminal. In operation, a predetermined voltage is obtained with a high speed at the output terminal.

The improvement obtained by the addition of the acetylene alcohol compound is not limited to the dispersibility of silica fillers but also to the dispersibility of carbon black when the rubbery polymer is an organopolysiloxane-modified acrylic polymer.
