    Abstract: A massage device (10) includes a seat (12), a backrest (13), and an ottoman (14). Airbags (23), which serve as massage means, are provided on one side of the ottoman (14). A leg placing portion (14c), on which legs of a user can be placed, is provided on the other side, which is the opposite side. The ottoman (14) is rotatably supported by a rotary shaft (16a), which extends in a lateral direction. The ottoman (14) is selectively switched between a massage capable state and a leg placing state by rotating the ottoman (14). The ottoman (14) includes a leg rest (14a) and a foot rest (14b). The foot rest (14b) is formed to rotate independently. The foot rest (14b) has urging members (31). The urging members (31) urge the distal end of the foot rest (14b) that is at the front in the massage capable state toward the rotary shaft (16a) by a predetermined force.

The connecting member comprises a lever member so that a movement direction of the manipulation member becomes the same as a movement direction of the housing and a movement amount of the manipulation member substantially becomes the same as a movement amount of the housing.

    Abstract: Cooling air conveyed through a cooling duct 3 is supplied to a discharge lamp 10 via a cooling air exit 21 having a plurality of flow paths 23a to 23c partitioned by a partition plate 22. An air flow direction changeover section 24 changes a flow path through which the discharge lamp is supplied with the cooling air from the cooling air exit. An air flow blocking ball 25 in the air flow direction changeover section moves by its own weight through a guide portion 26 to thereby block the flow path of the cooling air exit. This allows the cooling air to be directed specifically toward an upper side 11a in a direction of gravity of a lamp bulb of the discharge lamp to eliminate a temperature difference, even if a mounting style of the discharge lamp is varied among desk mounting, ceiling mounting, and vertical mounting.
