  • Patent number: 8508584
Abstract: According to the apparatus, the method, the program, and the recording medium of the present invention, the amount of feed of a first zoom lens and the amount of feed of a second zoom lens corresponding to a magnification of the first zoom lens and a magnification of the second zoom lens which are close to each other are associated, and the amounts of feed of the first zoom lens and the second zoom lens corresponding to an arbitrarily designated magnification are set. Accordingly, the magnifications of the first zoom lens and the second zoom lens can be accurately made almost equal over the entire zoom range. Since the magnifications of the first zoom lens and the second zoom lens are made equal on the basis of the amounts of feed, effective pixels do not decrease, unlike magnification correction using an electronic zoom.

  • Patent number: 8384767
Abstract: A stereoscopic camera includes first and second image pickup units, having respectively first and second optical axes, for photographing an object to form two image frames. Two angle adjusters make angle adjustment of the optical axes. An object detector detects a human face as a principal object in the two image frames. An arithmetic processor obtains a shift amount of the face between two image frames, and determines an axial correction angle according to the shift amount for the angle adjustment in consideration of the face. A checker checks whether the angle adjustment should be made for both optical axes or for one thereof. A controller operates at least one of the two angle adjusters according to the axial correction angle and in response to information from the checker, for positioning the face equally between the two image frames optically by adjusting the first and/or second optical axis.

  • Patent number: 8229310
Abstract: An image forming device has a full-color image formation mode to form a color image using color photoconductor drums and a monochrome image formation mode to form a monochrome image using a photoconductor drum. In the image forming device, a driving unit drives rotation of an intermediate transfer belt or a transfer transport belt. A control unit changes rotational speeds of the color photoconductors in a transition from the full-color image formation mode to the monochrome image formation mode to make a torque to the driving unit in the full-color image formation mode equal to a torque to the driving unit in the monochrome image formation mode. A separator unit separates the color photoconductors from the intermediate transfer belt or the transfer transport belt after the rotational speeds of the color photoconductors are changed by the control unit.

  • Publication number: 20110102269
Abstract: The patch antenna disclosed is easily adjusting the resonant frequency even by manual operation and without requiring a grinding process. A patch antenna includes a radiating element 12 and an adjustment land section 20. A power supply section 11 is disposed in the radiating element 12. The adjustment land section 20 adjusts the resonant frequency of the radiating element 12. When the resonant frequency needs to be adjusted, the adjustment land section 20 and the radiating element 12 are short-circuited to change the element length as viewed from the power supply section 11. As a result, the resonant frequency of the radiating element 12 can be adjusted.

  • Patent number: 7848687
Abstract: In an image forming device, a main controller unit controls the image forming device, a motor controller unit controls individually rotational speeds of a plurality of motors rotating image carriers respectively, and a deviation detection unit detects a deviation of the color image. In the main controller unit, a speed signal transmitting unit transmits a speed signal, indicating a target rotational speed for correcting the deviation, to the motor controller unit. An enabling-signal transmitting unit transmits, to the motor controller unit, a speed-change enabling signal after passing of a predetermined time from a time an imaging reference signal, which is indicative of a start and an end of an image region of each color, indicates an end of a corresponding image region immediately after transmission of the speed signal.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a camera system that illuminates a subject being photographed and its object is to provide the camera system capable of photographing at a shutter speed exceeding a synchronous speed or continuous shooting. An electronic camera according to the present invention controls a xenon tube (81) to emit flash light at a shutter speed lower than the synchronous speed in a single-shot photographing mode, and controls a LED (83a) to emit light at a shutter speed exceeding the synchronous speed so as to continuously emit light while a slit defined by a shutter front curtain and a rear curtain is moving over an effective imaging area of an imaging element. When performing a rear curtain sync photographing or front curtain photographing in a single-shot photographing mode, the xenon tube (81) emits flash light.
